I bought this to replace a blade grinder that gave inconsistent results. This one grinds the beans perfectly for our taste, and has an adjustment option for fine to coarse, depending on individual needs. We recently traveled to Colombia, and brought several bags of quality beans. This mill (and the beans) created amazing results. Cuisinart always equals quality for us. We've had a Cuisinart food processor for over 20 years and it's still going strong! Hopefully we'll get years of use from this mill.

I've long used a nearly 50 year old Cuisinart coffee grinder, so I know they're dependable; but I was ready for an upgrade. I wanted something more convenient to use every morning whether I'm making espresso, drip or french press. This does all of that plus burr grinds just the right amount of beans for the number of cups I plan on drinking. There's no mess on the countertop; everything stays in closed containers - beans on top and grounds in the front bin. Just set the slider for the number of cups you want, twist the bean canister to the grind you want and press "start." Easy-peasy!

This is a solid grinder we hope will last a while. It works well, has a larger capacity than some we have had and is adjustable from fine to coarse. It is not a grinder that you can unassemble easily to clean and it is noisier than most, but will do the job.

I needed a mid priced grinder for my pour overs and this one fit the bill. However, it isn’t really made for that and I get a bit of finely ground coffee mixed in with the coarse and it does effect the taste. Also, grinding a small amount of beans means the last few just bounce around and don’t seem to get ground up. But I don’t want to say it’s all bad. But for my use of single pour overs, it’s not perfect.

I was looking for a easy to use coffee grinder and one with features like this has as a replacement for my older unit that was worn out. I've had it for a couple of months and really like the ease of pushing a button and having my coffee ground perfectly with the right amount of grinds for my coffee maker. I can easily adjust the amount of coffee and the strength with the easy to use knob. The basket pulls out easily with no spilling and cleans up nicely. I have not had any problem with the ground coffee spilling or making a mess when I pull the basket out.

This is the second Cuisinart Burr Grinder I've had. (The first was lost about 20 years ago after a hurricane.) When I decided to switch back to whole beans, I tried a small blade grinder but it just wasn't working. The first burr grinder to come to mind was the Cusinart. Took a day to dial in the grind I needed for the number of cups I wanted using a pour over coffee maker instead of a single cup machine, but I like it.

This is the second grinder of this type we purchased over many years. We grind our own coffee daily and have found this Cuisinart brand to be a reliable workhorse with daily use. It is easy to use and clean, and allows adjustments for variable fineness of grinding. Recommend without reservation.

This is the first automatic mill that I have owned. I am very pleased with how it works and find the grinding convenient and user-friendly. The only critique I have is that after grinding the coffee, it is a bit cumbersome to clean out the area where the coffee is actually ground and comes out of the unit. I find that the coffee adheres to the square opening and that little brush that came with the unit is not sufficient. After each use I must take a damp paper cloth and a toothpick to work the ground coffee out of all the crevices. But as far as the functionality of the unit, I find it to be satisfactory.

Very disappointing. Made a terrible cup of coffee. I have a Cuisinart drip maker and started at medium grind, it made such a weak cup of coffee. Selected a finer grind and coffee didn't get any better. The static in reserve was so messy. No matter how gently I removed top, coffee grounds went everywhere on my counter. I use Starbucks beans. Sorry Cuisinart had to return it.

This grinder is a very nice looking grinder and doesn't take up lots of space. you can use many different setting to get your grind the way you like it. ine downside is the plastic window where the grind comes out is difficult to clean and get to on the machine part so it's a bit messy. I've figure out if you tap the plastic receptacle for the coffee before you remove it, the last of the grind falls down into the receptacle. one think I really like is most of a whole package of beans fits into the top and they you set the dial to the amount of beans you want to grind. it looks really nice sitting on the counter also! worth the price and were happy with this product .
