If you're buying this to grind coarse coffee for a french press, do not do it! It gives nothing but powdery mixture that is nothing but mud in a cup. You can try to strain it through a strainer and catch some of the ground beans that are bigger but you waste so much money and coffee. It's horrible. On the highest city, it does not grind coarse enough for a French press worthless. And sooo much static.

This is a nice coffee grinder! The coarse grinder was what I was looking for because I bought a percolator and this pot requires a coarse grind. The first thing I noticed was that it was easy to use and practical. I didn't think it was too loud but I wouldn't use it when the baby is sleeping. The coffee beans were ground quickly and I think I have mastered the functionality by the third use. I also think the price is reasonable.

The Burr Mill has given good reliable service for over 10 years. That is why I decided to continue with another unit when the last one finally quit grinding like when it was new.

Very happy so far. Works well and not too large. Some of the other grinders were gonna take up too much space. This is my second Cuisinart purchase and I’m very happy.

I bought this grinder to replace one I had for over 20 years. So far, it is working very well. I like the fact that I can adjust the size of the grinds. And it is much quieter than my old one. I am pleased with my purchase.

I have had several grinders over the years but when I bought my first Cuisinart burr grinder I was very pleased. After using it for several years, almost daily, it finally died. I immediately purchased another and I’m as satisfied as I was before.

This grinder does exactly what it is supposed to do, grind coffee beans and it does it well. The grind is good as specified and goes into hopper with little to no mess. would recommend.

First use it overheated and had barely ground beans. Tried it again after machine cooled off. Same issue. Even with small amount of beans in the chamber, it overheats. Would not recommend!

We are very happy with our burr mill. It does a great job producing a perfect grind for our espresso particularly. Glad we stayed with Cuisinart when we made our purchase choice.

I enjoy a fresh grind coffee and this adjustable grind feature stands out. The bottom of the bean chute could have slightly larger screen holes to let the beans into the grind section. The powerful motor is up for the job.
