This is a GREAT coffee grinder and is my second one, that said the old one still grinds but the box that receives and holds the ground coffee kept coming out and the machine would just quit, some kind of little safety switch broke off, It still works but the ground coffee holder has to be held in while grinding, (BIG RUBBER BAND) but we drink, thus grind a lot of coffee, so this second one is my reserve. I can't imagine not having fresh ground coffee first thing in the morning, (yeah a real first world problem) I guess I could chew the beans and dring hot water ?? ;~))))

Nice looking but very noisy. Ground coffee enters the box hitting the top side corner so that lots of grounds are stuck to the lid and side near the top, so it is very messy. Grounds should be directed to hit the bottom of the box. Also there should be a way to turn it off, like touching the start button, but the only way is to slide the timer bar all the way to the left. I have a feeling that this will wear out the timer mechanism soon.

Received my Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Grinder as a gift, this Holiday season, and could not be happier! I have owned coffee grinders in the past that were disappointing in both size and performance. Not having to refill a hopper of beans in order to achieve grounds enough for a pot of coffee is a game changer! Tapping a button to begin grinding while this Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mil does all the work, at a customizable grind level, is a win . I can proceed, with filter and water steps to brewing, while it completes grinding. This machine is a thought out appliance and Not Your ordinary coffee grinder at all! At last!

Overall I'm very happy with this grinder but only gave it 4 stars because of the container that the grinds go into. It's kind of cumbersome to pour your fresh grinds from the container into your coffee maker and it makes a mess. Maybe I haven't figured out the technique still and since I only make half a pot I'm not getting enough grinds to effectively just spoon them in. I bought a brush to help consolidate my grinds in the container and then spoon them out. Will see how that goes but if the container was a little narrower or the spout that the grinds come into from the grinder was setup more like a pour spout that would probably make it easier to transfer the grinds into the coffee maker.

Two things to know: first, the settings for the amount of coffee needed as per the cups being brewed are not accurate - in our opinion, the amount of coffee automatically ground for 8 cups of coffee (for example) is more than necessary. Secondly, this grinder is pretty loud - unless you want to video people levitating, you‘ll want to warn people before you start it.

Our third grinder and we wouldn't keep buying them if there wasn't good cause. The reason for the four star and not five is that the internal mechanism gets clogged with coffee bean particles and is impossible to clean. Eventually the adjustment button stops working and you have to get a new one. A simple enough fix if Cuisinart wanted to fix it; but it's inexpensive enough to replace when the button eventually gets stuck

This is my third of these coffee grinders. The motor survives longer if you only grind 18 cups' worth of beans at a time, allowing the motor to cool off between grindings. This particular grinder (the current one) is calibrated slightly differently, and to get coffee ground to the appropriate size for regular drip coffee I must set it far on the coarse end. That works fine, but I wonder about the difference between this grinder and the last.

I really enjoy product..the only downfall is getting the inside cleaned out. The main funnel and the deposit container are east to clean,,but the spout and the main motor where the bean get milled is hard to clean.. and afraid of the moisture from the beans growing something,,,,,

Great performance and value! I’d purchased this same model more than a decade ago. When it was time to buy a new one (I dropped and broke a part on the old one) I was pleased to see this model was still being made. And it is every bit as good - and much less expensive than other competitors in its class. Highly recommended!

The machine works very well, but it has two issues. 1: it is quite loud, but it is a grinder so that comes with it, no big deal. 2: it is very messy when getting the ground coffee out of the machine. The plastic bin was not the best material as the grounds stick to it quite easily and you have to scrape many of them out (I use a butter knife). On the whole, I still like it and have gotten used to putting the ground coffee into the filter over the open door of my dishwasher.
