Does not work correctly, but it works

I bought this to replace another of the exact same model that stopped working. Although this looks the same, and is the same model, it doesn’t perform the way the previous one did. If I set this one to 8 cups, I have to grind beans twice ti get the 8 cups rather than it doing it the first time. It could just be a bad grinder but, I really didn’t want to have to deal with the hassle of returning it for another one.

What a grind!

We have purchased two of these burr grinders over the last two years Found out after the first that the cleaning process is not to be neglected. The coffee we use is a dark roast with a lot of oil. It will clog up the port of the grinder and cause it to quit. The process of cleaning is complicated and messy. Everything that can be dismantled should be. I do it outdoors as it scatters ground coffee over everything. Various makeshift tool such as toothbrushes help get the built up grounds off the burrs and out of the port. A plastic orange peeler will help with the heavily caked grounds in the port. The timer seems to have about a year life of trouble free service. With this one and the last it requires the button to be held down to fill the receptacle; not always at first but more frequently as time goes on. All that said it provides what I want in terms of grind and size. Tried replacing it with a blade grinder before the purchase of the second but no satisfaction. Go ahead and buy one if your willing to accept a couple years use. Good news is it seems to work better with light roast non-oily beans.

Proud owner of the Cuisinart supreme grinder

This product does an awesome job of grinding I like the whole bean fill hopper and the finished grind container which allows you to grind a little or a lot by just adjusting the control dial I would highly recommend this grinder for anyone looking for a coffee grinder

Easy, consistent, budget-friendly.

This works perfectly for my needs. I wanted a coffee grinder that stored beans and was fully automatic and this works great. I love being able to just select the amount of cups and press start, no measuring needed. I’m not super picky about the grind or perfect weight of beans, I understand that higher-level coffee connoisseurs may choose a more fine-tuned option. Nope, I’m easy. This gets the job done easily and consistently. Some say this is very noisy, idk. It’s about as loud as my previous blade grinder, it doesn’t bother me. It doesn’t wake up either my partner or myself when it’s grinding in the kitchen 20 feet from the bedroom, so it’s good enough for us. Great option for usability, consistency, and budget. Would recommend.

Not what I needed

Possibly well suited for filter coffee, I found it lacking for espresso. Static caused the grounds to coat the catch box, which was a bother. Design prevents operation if the catch box is not in place, but sadly it will operate with the box lid left off - spewing grounds everywhere (my fault, but still - seems a design weakness).

Easy to use and clean

This works great! The options for the coarseness of the grinds are perfect, you just need to test it a little bit to get the desired grind. It doesn't take up much space, it's easy to use and clean. It's sitting in my pantry ready for fresh coffee grounds anytime!

Inconsistent grind, otherwise a good grinder.

The grinder works fine, and I am happy with it, but the ground coffee is a little inconsistent. When grinding on a medium to coarse setting, there is a lot of fine ground coffee in the bin. If using the screen filter that is included, that fine coffee will go through it. When using paper filters, this is not a problem.

Good...but!

I bought this a few weeks ago. It does a good job of grinding but it's messy! It's difficult to empty the ground coffee beans from the container without it getting all over the counter. Also, a lot of the ground coffee sticks persistently to the inside surfaces of the container. The little brush that is supplied does little more than push it around. It's like there is a static charge on the ground coffee that refuses to budge.

THE Best!

I received the grinder as a gift and I am so thankful that I did. It is very easy to use and maintain. It offers fantastic, precise grinding plus ample whole bean and ground coffee capacity. I have had other grinders and integrated grinder/coffee makers and the Cuisinart Supreme Grind is the best, by far. I highly recommend it.

Large capacity, not messy, course grind too fine

Besides it being a burr grinder vs blades, love the large capacity and how little mess is made with the Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill. I upgraded from a small grinder which was loud and always left a mess. This can grind more than a cup of beans at a time, and it goes directly into the lower unit. My only complaint is that the coursest grind setting, which I use for cold brew, seems to grind too finely compared to commercial coffee grinders. Still a vast improvement and I'm delighted with my purchase.
