This grinder does a good job while it holds together. I bought this grinder several years ago and it dutifully ground my coffee until the three screws in the bottom of the removable hopper came loose. Thinking the grinding noise was just hard beans, I let it grind away. Eventually I became suspicious and removed the hopper to find ground up screws mixed in with the coffee. Shudder to think how much metal I drank. I just bought another one because it still seems to be the best for the money out there. You can believe I'll keep close watch on the screws.

Very convenient with plenty of bean storage and one button operation. Perfect grind. There is not as much resolution setting for grind amount is not as I would like. I make a single large mug in a French press and I can get a bit too little or a bit too much so far.

Still experimenting with different beans and grinds so no 5-star rating yet but on track to get a perfect 5. This burr mill does the job very well; easy to use and easy to clean. Haven't been disappointed yet and I can recommend this coffee mill as a good value.

This grinder reminds me of a Waring version I had decades ago but this new model comes wth a lot of extras. It automatically ginds the right amount of beans for any size pot and turns itself off. The top holds a generous supply if beans and you can choose the corseness of the grind. And best of all it is relatvely quiet for a small motor appliance. It takes up a bit of space but is attractve on the counter.

Coffee is a bit powdery even on the higher course grind past the midway line, but ok. Is louder than my little electric grinder I have had for years. Bought this since my son loved it and highly recommended the Cuisinart. He said it was quieter, which it is not. It is well made but costly.

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present because he likes to buy whole coffee beans. He had been using a very loud ninja grinder (with blades) so I did some research and learned that a burr mill is much better for this job. My husband loves all the features of this product and I love the smell of fresh ground coffee in the morning!

We got this for Christmas - our first ever! We overlooked reviews because we were excited and thought people were just exaggerating. So, first - it works just fine. It grinds well and does let you customize your grind setting. However, this thing is unbelievably loud! Like ear-splitting loud! And no, I’m not exaggerating!! It’s really really really loud! The other issue is that it is messy. First, the grounds blow into the collection cup from the side rather than straight down. Very messy. And the collection cup has a static cling effect that means you never get out all the grounds unless you wash it with water, which is fine once you pour all your grounds into the coffee pot filter BUT you aren’t getting all the grounds you just created into the coffee pot filter - they cling to the sides and bottom of collection cup and you have to wash them out with water. This seems like no big deal until you are grinding daily and it turns into a big mess and a daily hassle. As I said at the beginning of this review, when we read reviews before purchasing we considered these reports to be knit-picky exaggeration but they truly are annoying. Our friends bought the Cuisinart Conical Grinder and all these issues are resolved in that model so invest a few more dollars and step up to the Cuisinart Conical Grinder.

This is our second grinder. It is a replacement of the first. We had our first for about ten years before it quit. Upon its dying I took it apart to try and revive it, only to find about a pound of ground coffee inside that made it die. As stated above this is a replacement and hope that it will last as long as the other but something in the design lets ground coffee into the motor housing

This is a great grinder! I have had a few different styles that were cheap and you needed to measure the beans depending on how many cups you’re making. I am so happy I found this one-it’s the best! No guess work as to how many beans to grind. You simply set the dial for the type of grind you want and how many cups of coffee you are making. One push of a button and it does the rest! Very easy to clean too. I love it!!!!

This replaces one that provided many years of service. It appears identical to the one it replaced. One major difference though...the ground coffee does static cling to the grounds cup to excess. It becomes very difficult to get all of the grounds out without scattering grounds onto the counter. The old one did this intermittently, but this one does it all the time. Hope there is a solution to this issue and I would give a 5 star rating.
