I received the Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill as a gift and absolutely love it. Very easy to set up and use. You can select the grind so your beans can be fine or course, your choice. You can grind about a 1/2 of a small bag of beans and store in the container which retains the freshness of the beans.

This provides a quick and easy way to prepare the coffee to brew a pot. Once you figure out how you plan to use it and the settings you need, it is automatic, and the grind is great. The directions provide surprisingly little guidance for how to obtain the right amount of coffee (e.g. what is a "cup"?), so I am experimenting with using a setting as low as 8 cups for my 12-cup drip coffeemaker. Also the instructions for removing the hopper are inadequate to prevent spilling of beans all over; next time I'll try tipping the whole grinder to empty the hopper into a container. But the coffee is very nicely ground, especially compared to the chopper I used to use; and I no longer have to measure out the beans.

I have a few issues, but none of them are enough to make me return the grinder. The beans do not feed evenly into the hopper and I have had to tap it to get the beans to fall in better. The grinder has a very high pitch when grinding. The slide that determines how many cups I am grinding is very flimsy. The coarse grind isn't coarse enough for my preference for cold brew.

For the price and features, this is a good value. The hopper will accommodate about 10 oz of coffee beans. It takes about 30-45 seconds to do a grind cycle. Resulting grind quaility is good. In a dry climate, some of the grind will static cling to the hopper, so be sure to wipe it out with a dry towel. I'm happy with the purchase and the 4 star rating is due to the static issue.

We bought this machine from Bed Bath & Beyond in December 2018 just before Christmas. I use the machine just about every day to grind espresso coffee for my espresso maker. I really like the machine it's easy to use but I can't stand the amount of static that builds up in the plastic holding container for the grounds. I really wish there was some way to stop this from happening, if this could be done I think it would be a great machine. I think there needs to be a locking mechanism in the hopper so that when you're ready to change the beans out you don't have beans falling out everywhere.

This coffee grinder does not work well for making espresso-based drinks, such as espresso itself, cappuccinos, or lattes. Even on the finest grind setting, the ground coffee was not fine enough to generate any measurable pressure in my espresso machine. This the espresso brewed was inadequate.

I really like burr mill grinders and was very excited to get a new one. I read the instruction, had my coffee pot all ready to go, and the grinder did not work. It's very disappointing to buy something brand new and it doesn't work. I can't go and return things because I'm basically bed bound and I don't drive, so now I have this just sitting in my closet in the box it came in, I even registered my product. Very sad...

This is the second supreme grind we have had; the first one broke down, but only after three or four years of daily use. We have not tried other bar grinders, so we can’t make comparisons. However, we are very satisfied with its operation, and of course, the coffee we get from it is delicious.

I purchased this grinder almost 1 month ago. It replaces a Krups grinder that I liked very much. The Cuisinart is much louder than the Krups but then that lasted slightly longer than 1 year. so now I have a cuisinart 12 cup maker, 4 cup maker and now the grinder.

Small enough to keep on my counter full time. So easy to use - pour beans, select number of cups you are brewing and choose the grind level based on brew method. ive found the setting to be accurate and only had to make a few small tweaks to get it exactly how i prefer. ground coffee mostly consistent - a few stragglers but not enough for me to complain about. Do wish the bean hopper was tinted as i cant always guess the right amount of beans.
