Doesn't do what it says

I'm very disappointed. The settings work the same no matter which I use.

Purchased something else

It grinds the beans decently. But not all of the grinds go into the plastic catch container. A lot of the grounds go down into the body of the machine and then when you move the machine grounds go everywhere. I held it over my sink and shook it back-and-forth and there was a mountain of grounds that were wasted. Very disappointing. Not only because it’s wasteful, but if you don’t realize that’s happening and those grounds are just sitting/pestering in your grinder overtime, it could attract bugs, etc. Also pretty cheap components. I have to hold the plastic catch in place while holding down the grind button or it’ll pop out and the machine will stop grinding.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. For best results, please ensure the grind chamber and catch container are fully seated and locked into place, and periodically remove and gently tap out excess grounds from the chute area to help prevent buildup. If the container is not clicking securely into position, our team can help review proper assembly and determine if a replacement part may be needed. So much worse than I thought possible

I had no idea that it was possible to make a burr grinder this poorly. Construction is cheap and flimsy. Also, the beans don't feed through the grinder naturally. So you have to sit there and babysit it the whole time, tapping it so that beans get into the grinder so that it produces ground beans. It is going into the trash bin where it belongs.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet the standards we strive to deliver, and we appreciate you sharing your feedback. Bean flow concerns can sometimes occur if there is static buildup, residual oils in the hopper, or if the unit needs a thorough cleaning to ensure smooth feeding through the burrs. We would welcome the opportunity to troubleshoot with you and review your grinder to see how we can help improve performance. Please contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1-800-726-0190 and reference Ticket #8900522095 for assistance.

meh

Mine lasted for 10+ years. It was never a great coffee grinder, but it was never quite bad enough that I felt compelled to get another one. It's loud, prone to static buildup, and produces more fines than someone more particular about coffee than I would care for.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re happy to hear you were able to get so many great years of use out of your grinder. While this model is known for durability, factors like noise, static, and grind consistency can vary based on bean type and cleaning frequency, and wiping the grounds container with a dry cloth may help reduce static buildup. Thank you; we appreciate your feedback, as it plays an important role in shaping improvements for future models.

Not happy at all

I bought this coffee bean grinder a number of months ago and have had nothing but problems with it where it either grinds very slowly or doesn't grind at all. I was thinking that perhaps it was just something I was doing wrong and tried it again the next time I needed to grind my coffee beans. Nope. It is either very slow or doesn't grind at all. With the time lapse after purchasing this grinder, I don't think I would be able to get a refund. But I had a similar model previously and didn't have these issues.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Supreme Grind® Automatic Burr Mill, and we’re sorry to hear about the inconsistent grinding performance you’ve encountered. Slow or intermittent grinding can sometimes be caused by oily beans, burrs needing cleaning, or the hopper and grind chamber not being fully seated, so we recommend cleaning the burrs thoroughly and using dry, non‑oily beans to help improve operation. Please contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1‑800‑726‑0190 and reference ticket #[8900625199 so we can assist further and review available options. Thank you for your feedback—it's truly appreciated and helps inform improvements on future models.

For the price and quality, it’s a safe choice

Last one ground appropriately for French press, cold brew, and drip set ups. It’s loud, but we grind in the afternoon for the next 3-4 days and warn the kids “loud noise”. You don’t have to hold it while it runs, so we leave it running in another room. It lasted ~6-7 years and it was the electronics, not the burr, that gave out first. As long as the price doesn’t creep up and the build stays the same, we’ll probably plan to pick one of these up every 8-10 years until we punch our card or I build one myself.

Retire this

They kept the worst of the two. The LED model does not collect static in the cup. This does, expect your grind area to need cleaning after every grind. I’ve owned three of these before the blue LED model; all of them died because of the grinder. I’ve had the newer blue LED’s now, one died due to motor failure, way past warranty. Cuisinart, bring the newer model back
