Coffee was ground too fine on the Medium setting at first, but after some use it seems to be a bit coarser. Do not believe it will produce a grind coarse enough for French-press, but have not tried yet.

I was prompted to write a review because I just purchased this mill, but I bought it to replace the one that I purchased 14 years ago--the same exact model. It lasted 14 years in a house with 7 children. Workhorse! And it does the job well too.

This is so easy to use and the grinds fit my wants. I love the fact it grinds as much as you want for what ever purpose and the variety of grinds is perfect for my needs. Sometimes I need course and sometimes fine grinds.

Noisiest, messiest disaster. I have rarely liked an appliance LESS. I had a simple blade grinder for over 10 years. This one disappoints on almost every level. I'd rather use my hand crack bean grinder, not kidding.

This grinder is easy to use. And has really improved our coffee. Freshly ground coffee is now routine for us, and we never realized how much a difference drinking freshly ground coffee makes. I love this thing!

Purchased as a replacement for worn out grinder. Easy to use, grind beans as you need, so always fresh brewed coffee. Grinds beans evenly. Attractive appliance to have in kitchen.

I buy whole beans and grind them myself. I usually grind several containers at one time. This mill doesn't fill quite as full as my previous one so it takes a few more grindings. Overall, I like this mill and would recommend it.

I have been using Cuisinart Burr coffee grinder daily for years with excellent results. I decided to purchase a replacement grinder because the plastic hopper & catch bin became unsightly due to heavy use.
