I purchased the unit in mid-February. It said that you could grind roughly 1/2-pound per "cycle". When I tried that … the machine kept shutting off, after about 20-30 seconds … and I had to keep hitting the "start button", for it to continue. I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong …. but I had to hit the start-button multiple times, before it finished the "cycle". I finally got through the pound-of-coffee. There was quite a mess to clean up afterwards too - so perhaps I ground it too fine ?!?! I'll have to try again, and see if I get the same results.

Purchased the burr mill coffee grinder to help reduce oxidization of our grind. The grinder works good except for two issues. First, with the maximum cup selected, it only grinds about half a container of coffee. In order to run a full hopper of beans through the grind it has to be run 3/4 times. Second, on the finest setting the coffee is not nearly as fine as I would expect. It grinds to more of a fine medium.

This coffee grinder is wonderful it has turn my coffee and experience into a coffee shop I love it and I highly recommend it no more scooping and fasting and helping you get it the right amount of coffee and then adding a little extra water because you think it’s too strong or it’s not round fine enough or it’s too chunky you don’t know what I went through with package ground coffee it’s never the right grind for your coffee pot the only one that was really good but it could be a little strong was Gevalia this makes all coffee as fabulous as Gevalia. I highly recommend it

Excellent precision grinder, very convenient- large hopper and easy to use. Just set desired amount and it does the rest. Then just dump it into the basket without measuring. I like the ability to adjust and fine tune the grind levels as found it make a difference in the taste. Took 1 star off as it is kinda loud and as the first one up like to keep things quiet.

The best coffee grinder I’ve ever used. I have had several coffee grinders and this one is by far the best and easiest to use. Does not leave the beans smelling and tasting burnt. Settings on the machine allow you to grind the perfect amount of coffee for your particular machine. I love the modern design of the grinder as well as the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite impressively loud the longer it runs. On the slower end of grinders . With that said, it works, grind is pretty consistent and you can't beat the price. If you want perfect, spend 10X more and get a professional style unit otherwise this will get the job done

This is the first automatic mill that I have owned. I am very pleased with how it works and find the grinding convenient and user-friendly. The only critique I have is that after grinding the coffee, it is a bit cumbersome to clean out the area where the coffee is actually ground and comes out of the unit. I find that the coffee adheres to the square opening and that little brush that came with the unit is not sufficient. After each use I must take a damp paper cloth and a toothpick to work the ground coffee out of all the crevices. But as far as the functionality of the unit, I find it to be satisfactory.

I like the size and the ease of cleaning the washable parts; although I do use a toothpick to clean the non washable part as it does clog up easily and I usually has to use the brush to dislodge the coffee whole grinding a couple of times per every 8 oz of coffee beans.

This grinder works great, but it’s very messy. It’s almost impossible to get the ground coffee from the grinder into whatever apparatus you’re using to brew without grounds and “dust” getting everywhere. That’s it’s only flaw as far as we’re concerned, but it’s a major one. We are constantly cleaning the counter and sweeping the floor, even when we’re trying to be careful.

I have always trusted the name Cuisinart, not only for the name, but price amd quality. It offers options of how many cups of coffee to grind for and has so many adjustments for how fine and coarse you prefer your grind to be. It has auto shut off, easy to clean.
