This is our second Cuisinart Burr Mill. The first one had a separation of the base of the hopper that I was able fix with JB Weld and lasted another year before the plastic near the grinding mechanism finally gave away and was unrepairable. The choice of grinders out there is small and the Cuisinart is still the best one of the available grinders.

Dead on arrival. Tried it on 3 different, known good electrical outlets and nothing. Went on internet to see if there was a quick fix. Apparently there are 3 safety switches that could be faulty and involves taking the unit apart. Nope, not me and not for a brand new unit.

I've had coffee grinders before. They were good. They can't compare to the superior qualities of the Cuisinart Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill. A long name. A great product that works simply and creates an exceptionally good cup of coffee. Pour in the beans. Select the grind & number of cups you want to make, turn on and the right amount of perfectly ground coffee is deposited in the reservoir.

This grinder is very sturdy. I keep it filled with fresh coffee beans to grind on a day to day basis. It does not take up too much room on my counter and is not super loud. I bought this grinder because I have always had great luck with Cuisinarts in the past. Great grinder for a great price.

This is my 1st burr grinder, but I can tell a huge difference in the flavor of the coffee compared to using a blade grinder. The construction quality is what I've come to expect from Cuisinart as I have several kitchen appliances from them that are still still working well after several years. The price is right.

I had first bought this grinder about 5-6 years ago. It performed perfectly until the motor lost the ability to grind, so replacing with the same product was an obvious choice. This new unit performs differently. I have to set the grinder to 16 to produce the same amount of grounds that my old unit would produce set to 10-12. Fine, but odd.

I bought this for myself and loved it. However, I needed to exchange it because it stopped working. I had cleaned It on a regular basis so I was stymied as to what the problem was. I bought one for my son and I went to his home to use his machine and it stopped also. In the meantime his has started working again after he cleaned it. In retrospect, i “think” that the machine stopped because it was clogged. I grind my coffee on the finest grind I can and although I cleaned it often, I think the oil-build up might have been the problem. Any thoughts? Judi

I have been making pour over coffee for some time using a blade grinder. When I started grinding with this burr grinder, I noticed how much more uniform the grind was. The coffee tasted much better. The wet grounds now make a nice flat bed at the end of brewing. One touch of the start button, no more holding the blade grinder's button and counting seconds for a medium grind that was never uniform. The grind is perfectly uniform every time on the burr grinder no matter where you set it from fine to course. If you use a blade grinder, step up to a burr grinder. You will be glad you did.

This Cuisinart burr grinder is my third purchase of this item. I wore my first one out with daily use for 6 years. I bought one as a gift. This time it is for me. I love its consistency of grinding and the newest one is even quieter. It makes good coffee even better

Hopper fits a full small size bag of coffee beans. Great for precision coarseness. My one issue is the plastic catch basin. It feels very thin and seems like it will crack easily. The basin also produces an inordinate amount of static, to the point where when using the brush to wipe grounds from the walls it literally sprays out onto my counters
