Frankly I am disappointed! This is my 3rd cuisinart grinder in a 20 year period. The volume of beans ground at the various settings is similar to when the burrs are worn and I need to replace the grinder. I am out of town now, but when I return am giving serious consideration to going to another brand.

Works well, the features to set course/fine and cup amount are accurate. My one complaint is that it is messy to empty the bin of grounds into the coffee maker without getting grounds all over the counter; it cakes on the sides and spills when removing the lid and even when removing the bin from the grinder. Otherwise a great appliance.

This coffee grinder is just what I was looking for. The one I had was very small and I wanted something to make more than a few cups at a time. Thus Cuisinart grinder totally fits the bill. Its a nice size and I can make 12+ cups at one time. Glad I purchased it!

it works well and i can get a consistent grind, however, it is extremely difficult to clean. with no way to remove the burr inside of the machine, i have to spend around an hour each time i grind beans trying to scrape as much as i can out, and i usually end up giving up and settling even though it’s not clean. little nooks and crannies deep in the machine makes it impossible to fully clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement for an older model that finally quit working. It is supposed to grind an approximate amount of beans for the desired quantity of brewed coffee. It grinds at least 1/3rd less so if you want to brew 8 cups set the grind amount to 12 cups. I called and was advised a possible fix which I have not yet tried. But they said if it doesn’t work it will be replaced. Will I be without a grinder? Who knows

I bought this several weeks ago to replace a similar grinder from Cuisinart. The previous model worked well, but stopped working after only several years - I thought a bit prematurely. The new grinder seems to have less control of grind size and also seems very slow. Overall, the new grinder works but is not as good as the version it replaces.

I'm not a coffee drinker myself, but hubbie is really enjoying the Burr Mill Grinder, as he's discovered French Press coffee. There's plenty of coarseness levels, so I'd imagine versatile for all types of coffee a person could ever want! If anything, it's just a bit loud in the mornings.

I absolutely love this grinder. It not only grinds but also measures out the right amout of beans neededto suit your taste. No waste of beans or grounds. I'm on my third one now. We grind at least once or twice a day and on special occasions more. Wish it would last longer then 2 years though.

Dead on arrival. Tried it on 3 different, known good electrical outlets and nothing. Went on internet to see if there was a quick fix. Apparently there are 3 safety switches that could be faulty and involves taking the unit apart. Nope, not me and not for a brand new unit.

This product is THE BEST!! We have had other brands that did not stand up. We grind beans daily and quality & efficiency is important. We bought one of these over 8 years ago and it was just beginning to slow down, so we grabbed a replacement as soon as we found it! This grinder has so many settings that allows us to grind the beans as fine as we like, or less so if we want, depending on what we are creating. We love it and wouldn't buy anything else!
