This grinder is my second in over 10 years. The first one, used twice a day just wore out, that's pretty good longevity. My new one works well. But, anyone using must know when it's time for cleaning, which only takes 5 minutes. Only because i grind at the finest setting. I would recommend this grinder for budget minded people. Very reasonably priced. I love it!

I've had this grinder for a couple months now, and I do like it. It fits in my cabinet very easily, and it grinds a lot of coffee at once. I keep my grinds in an airtight container so I do not use the chamber for storage. I have found that I prefer the coarser grind settings, if for no other reason than the finer grinds end up being almost powdery, and get all over everything. That might be due to the low humidity season we're in (late fall/early winter), though, so I'll switch to a medium or finer grind in the warmer, more humid weather. I do wish the chamber for the ground coffee was easier to clean, though. And I learned the very hard way that the bean hopper CANNOT be soaked for cleaning. Poor design there.

I bought this coffee grinder to take the place of one I had for about four years. It is the same style and brand but the unit doesn't work nearly as well something has been downgraded from the previous model as this one doesn't grind as well on other settings except just below the mid grind and the grinder doesn't measure the correct amount of beans for any of the settings.I have to set the grinder on the 18 cup setting to get enough ground coffee for a 12 cup pot of water and even then it is weaker than I like. The grinder struggles on the finer setting and I'm not wanting a course grind so It doesn't function well enough to suit me. This is the second replacement, the first one I thought it was just a glitch of getting a poorly made grinder so I exchanged it for the one I presently have and it works just as bad. I chose this because the first unit I bought several years ago performed well and functioned on any setting I used and I trusted the brand, but I'll not count on that again for the next one.

We bought this model originally in 2005, and it performed admirably until this June when the switch failed. 17 years is very good for a small appliance, so we replaced the old one with a new one. It’s identical to the old one, but the timer is much more accurate than the old one. I highly recommend this product.

Very good quality with a nice even grind. You need to set the measurement for 2 cups beyond what you actually need (making 4 cups? Grind for 6.) the hopper is nice so you can load it ahead of time, much more efficient than our previous blade grinder.

I bought this model 16 years ago. It was great. It finally died. A screw had loosened up and was grounded to dust. I bought another and it would grind for about a half second and would not allow any beans in. I started at very course and and same thing. Took it back and got a replacement. This one grinds for about a second or two then stops, Only producing least than an 1/8 of a teaspoon. Not trying a third time. DO NOT BUY

I generally like the grinder; it grinds coffee fine in the way I like it. One thing I don't find as good is the static that builds up in the coffee container once ground. When taking the coffee out, coffee tends to get all over the counter. This may be due to the material the grinding mechanism is made of.

I bought this recently, and frankly my decision was primarily based on price. However, it’s been a great machine and well worth keeping out on the counter. I love that I can set the number of cups.. in the morning I just push the start button and it grinds just enough coffee for my espresso machine. It is evenly ground as well.

My previous Cuisinart bean grinder finally died after 10 years. I tried two other brands, neither of which lasted or worked well. Should have bought another Cuisinart from the get-go! This has all the right settings for coarseness and quantity. The grind is consistent, and produced very quickly. The best underrated feature is the lid on the collection container! It prevents static electricity from spraying grounds all over the counter. What?, you ask?? Yep, electric motor grinders generate static electricity in the plastic collection container. Save yourself the trouble, get the Cuisinart.

Does an excellent job. Makes smaller batches so they won't go stale before you get to use it! A very wide variety of grind sizes from extra course to extra fine. Note: the finer the grind the stronger the coffee! Small enough unit to leave on even a small counter without taking up usable counter space for food prep. Solid and with the rubber cushioned feet the unit doesn't "wander" all over the counter while grinding! Easy to clean,the measuring cup with brush is an excellent added bonice! Wash the plastic catch box with an "anti-static" detergent and or rub it with an anti-static close dryer pad.
