I appreciate the long cord as it makes it flexible to put in different areas and that it is free from insecticide. I tried this product in December, so not as many bugs as there would be in summer. I checked it after about 6 hours and caught a few small gnats and one stink bug. Win for me as I hate stink bugs! Can't wait to use it in the summer as our area always has an issue with fruit flies.

For half of the day, I didn't see anything much, so I left it till the end of the day to see anything different. And YES, it cached flies around the house as the pic. The only thing is that maybe the sticky glue pad was hard to see in order to catch the flies.

I live in a rural area and bugs are a big issue here. This fly trapper is able to catch all the gnats, flies, and the baby mosquitoes that I'm not able to swat. The bugs are very attracted to the light and as long as I have it on, it will trap them all day long. I love the sleek, modern design. Sometimes I have the privilege of fostering animals and therefore I don't want any sort of sticky traps or chemicals in the air that could harm kittens or dogs. The STEM fan is able to catch all the pesky mosquitoes and fruit flies that might be around without putting any living animal in danger.
