[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the Stem Flying Insects Fan Trap a try. Instructions for set up were clear and easy. I was curious as to how loud the fan might be but it was quiet. I appreciate the long cord as it makes it flexible to put in different areas and that it is free from insecticide. I tried this product in December, so not as many bugs as there would be in summer. I checked it after about 6 hours and caught a few small gnats and one stink bug. Win for me as I hate stink bugs! Can't wait to use it in the summer as our area always has an issue with fruit flies.

I think this combination works really good together. This device also isn't very big, so it's easy to fit in most places around my apartment. I like that the light isn't overbearing, and I actually think it's quite nice looking in the dark. My only drawback is it doesn't seem to catch many fruit flies. I don't know if the fruit flies just aren't as attracted toward this device than other flying bids, or if most of them are simply to powerful to get over powered by the fan. Either way, I think this device is worth purchasing. I will definitely keep using it.

Very easy to use and clean! It’s not messy at all! You just take the sticky card out of the bottom! The price is great for it! It really does work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product that is easy to use. The little sticky pads just go in the bottom and it comes with refills. The machine does have two fan speeds. Even on quiet I do find it to be a little noisy. We have it in our kitchen and it almost sounds like the fridge is running. Not sure if I would want it next to my bed. It works well and has captured lots of little gnats in the bottom.

The fan trap is low in noise and easy to maintain. The cost is a tad high but works well so it is definitely worth the purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was pleasantly surprised by the stem flying insects fan trap. i gave it a go in a few different spots around the house and here’s what i found: setup: i’m all about easy, and this didn’t disappoint. plug it in, turn it on, and you’re good to go. the UV light is pretty subtle, so it doesn’t mess with the vibe of the room, which i liked. efficacy: this thing definitely gets the job done. it quietly lures those annoying flies in (especially around food or trash), and the fan traps them right in. within a couple of days, i was already seeing the little buggers on the refill cartridge, which felt oddly satisfying. refill process: honestly, it couldn’t be easier. pop off the cartridge, dispose of the bugs, and replace it. no mess, no stress. it’s so simple to clean that i didn’t mind dealing with it at all. overall, this little fan trap is great for keeping things lowkey without the harsh chemicals. it’s not going to completely wipe out a major infestation, but if you’ve got a couple of flies hanging around, this thing is super effective. it’s honestly one of those products that quietly does its job without you even realizing how much you needed it until you see the results.

This one is different in the fact that it traps the bugs inside so you don't have to look at dead bugs all day. At the same time though, you can't tell if it's working unless you unscrew the top and look inside. Not a con, just something to mention. Houseflies are our biggest problem in the summer and right now it hasn't gotten any of them, but there are a few gnats already and it's only been 24 hours so keeping my fingers crossed!

However, I found that it wasn't effective at getting rid of all bugs. It was great at getting the small tiny fruit flies, but I found some moths and other larger flies around the house still.
