It's quiet, effective, and I also happen to enjoy the purple light it emits, almost like a soft night light! No assembly required.

If you live in an area where you get a lot of flies and gnats, perhaps from your children or guest coming in and out a lot, then it's a good device to have. Large capacity and can just dump out. Especially if you don't like touching the sticky pad to remove on the plug in ones often. My home is bright , and flies will tend to go to the window during the day, so this device works best in a dark area of home or ran in the evening hours, so that the blue light attracts them.

Great for gnats, mosquitoes and moths. Flies won't go in it.

However, it doesn't catch every bug so don't expect perfect results. Overall, it's a good product and worth buying. It's incredibly easy to set up just plug it in and start the glue trap and let it do the work. I really like it uses UV light and a quiet fan and attract insects instead of chemical insecticides making it a great option for homes with pets and small children. The soft blue UV light isn't overpowering and the fan runs quietly enough that I hardly notice it on.  It's perfect for catching fruit flies and other small flying insects especially in kitchens or near entryways the replaceable glue traps make clean up quick and mess free.
