[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing about this insect fan trap is that it takes just a minute or two to set up. All I had to do to start using it was to: separate the top and bottom halves of the device; remove the protective peel from one of the 5 included glue traps; and place a glue trap in the base of the unit. Then I simply plugged it in and turned it on using the power button on the lid. It did a nice job attracting mosquitos via the UV light in an overnight test, with the fan, apparently, 'helping' them into the trap. The fan has 2 speeds; I set it on high, as the fan was very quiet on either speed, so I figured high would work best. You can also set a timer so the device runs for 3, 8 or 12 hours at a time. After a glue trap has been used up, you just open the unit, take out the glue trap and put in a new one. Bottom line; it's an easy to use, no mess device that attracts and traps as advertised.

Lots of bang for your buck! Even has a timer! You can see in the photos and video that I added that it actually works. I even trapped one in the first hour or so of it being plugged in! Oh and it’s pet friendly!

Takes time – Works best overnight but doesn’t trap every insect instantly. 3. Great for small spaces – Ideal for kitchens and bedrooms but may not cover large areas. 4. Easy to use – Simple setup and maintenance, just replace the sticky pad as needed. 5. Mixed results – Works well for gnats and fruit flies, but larger bugs sometimes escape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The STEM Fly Insects Fan Trap is a sleek, chemical-free solution for keeping flies and other small bugs away from your food and living space. It's incredibly easy to set up—just pop in the batteries and place it near your food or drink. The soft, flexible fan blades spin quietly and safely, creating a subtle breeze that deters insects without harming them. It's especially great for outdoor dining or kitchen counters.

It has a nice looking, smooth top with touch buttons to turn it on, select high or low fan, or adjust run time (always on, 3hr, 8hr, 12hr). In low fan mode, it's very quiet. On the high setting, I can hear it from across the room, but it's fan noise and not loud or distracting at all. If you have a hepa filter in the room, that will most likely be louder. As for operation, it's simple. The device twists apart and you drop one of the round glue discs of which 5 are included. Then, twist it back together and turn it on. Overall, it's the LED enhanced version of a tape fly trap. The LED's are a violet color and don't really bother you unless you look into the device; placing it above or below where you look is best. It's not to bright at night either, but does seem to attract the flying pests. We let it run for a few days and it did catch some annoying little flies and mosquitos that were around in the bathroom. Don't expect it to clear the room in an hour or two, it took a few days to really start collecting the pests. But, it does work as planned and we are very happy with the results. It also looks great - much better than the tape strips, and it will keep kids away from touching anything gross on those strips.

I'm blown away by how well this fan trap works! It's been attracting and trapping flying insects like flies, mosquitoes, and gnats flies those are the more issue ones The LED light and fan combination seem to be irresistible to these pesky insects, and I've seen a significant reduction in their presence around everywhere I've caught dozens of insects in just the first few hours of use, and I'm excited to see how well it performs over time. The maintenance of the STEM Flying Insects Fan Trap is relatively simple. The trap is easy to clean and empty, and the fan is protected by a removable mesh screen that can be washed with soap and water. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the chance to try out the STEM Flying Insects Fan Trap, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations. The design is really sleek and perfect for indoor spaces. It operates quietly, which I appreciate, and I love that it uses UV light to lure in and catch flying bugs. It looks fantastic on my kitchen counter, especially compared to outdoor traps where you can see all the dead insects. Great value for the price.
