Setup was quick and simple, and it’s satisfying (and a little gross—in a good way!) to see the refill cartridge actually working, covered in bugs. We’ve also tested it indoors near the fruit bowl and trash can, and it’s been equally effective, all while running quietly and safely around our family.

I have a collection of potted indoor plants near my backdoor that attract small flying insects from the backyard. This fan does a great job of catching anything that comes in. I love that there are no chemicals and the cord is long enough to make moving it convenient.

The UV light attracts flies, gnats, and fruit flies, while the fan traps them effectively. Safe for pets and people, and easy to use. A bit pricey, but works well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had some little fruit flies cruising around my kitchen for a while.So keeping any food off the counter and emptying the trash regularly is the first step to control but the Stem trap does work to lure in and trap the remaining ones. It’s not instant but over time it lures in and snags the little buggers. It has no smell and I noticed was that it was quite a bit bigger than I expected, the blue light it gives off isn’t too bright.I will definitely keep using it as part of my overall defense against the fruit flies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about the Stem Flying Insects Fan Trap is that it's a portable and compact pest control device. It's currently the winter season here in Maryland and so at this present time there aren't too many flying insects, however, observing the construction of this device as well as what it is designed to do, I have no question that this device will be highly effective in eliminating the flies and gnats that tend to hover around the front and back of my house. Additionally, I love that there aren't any harmful chemicals and sprays I have to contend with. Also, I like that it is portable so that I can take it with me during the Spring and Summer seasons when the flying pests are actively prevalent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flying bug trap works for a small area. I have a large enclosed area after many days of the trap on enclosed is the photo of what was caught. I did still have many flying around. For the cost of this I would not recommend.

The UV light, fan, and sticky pad combo work well together, though I do wish it was more portable. I appreciate that the sticky pads are placed at the bottom instead of the sides—it makes them so much easier to use. The device itself isn’t heavy and can be easily moved anywhere with a plug. Looking forward to seeing it in full action during the upcoming warm season!
