[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung’s latest innovation is the 2024 Samsung Music Frame. Samsung has always set the president with creating innovative products, and this one is no different. After unboxing the Music Frame, the first thing I noticed was the overall heft of the device. The first thing I did was connect the device to SmartThings which took several minutes to complete. Once completed and accepting several terms and conditions I was able to cast music to the Music Frame. The sound that’s projected out of the Music Frame surprised me. Just looking at the device you would not think there is 6 speakers in such a small package. Music filled my medium sized room with ease. I let my wife listen, and she was in awe that the Music Frame was able to produce such a room filling sound. Some key features I like are: Q-Symphony Spotify Connect Chromecast Wireless Dolby Atmos Airplay One thing I think Samsung needs to address is Q-Symphony with Music Frame only works with 2024 Samsung TVs or a 2024 Soundbar. I was to test older Samsung televisions and I was able to select the WIFI option to play sound to the Music Frame as well. I confirmed Q-Symphony did not work on my 2019 Samsung. This means you are forced to upgrade to get the full effects of Q-Symphony. The second major factor as of writing this review is you are only allowed 2 devices to be setup using Q-Symphony. Meaning if you have two Music Frames you are fine, however if you have 2 Music Frames and a Samsung soundbar, you won’t be able to use the feature on all 3 devices, only two. This first iteration really has potential, but I think Samsung will need to consider enabling features on current models instead of forcing consumers to upgrade to nest year’s models. This trend cannot continue if Samsung wants to gain consumer’s trust. The Music Frame has a good feature set, but really hindered by crippled software that won’t allow more devices to make this a viable solution to add to the home theater setup. The music sounds crisp and has a decent amount of bass. Good product that has the potential to be great when those items are addressed above.

You get the ambiance of a beautiful picture frame that doubles as a powerful speaker that easily fills an entire room with amazing sound. Out of the box, it comes with the speaker/frame, a stand, hardware for hanging on the wall, and the power cable. The frame/speaker itself is extremely heavy. If you plan on hanging it on the wall, I would make sure you are hanging it on studs. For now, I am just using the stand. As soon as I plugged it in, a voice came on indicating it was ready to pair via Bluetooth or through the SmartThings app. It only took a couple of minutes to pair it with my SmartThings account. You can use the app to control the speaker features such as power, equalizer, sound mode, etc. I like that I was able to easily pair it with my Google Home app as well. It also works with Alexa, Chromecast, Airplay, etc. For a smaller soundbar, it definitely packs a punch. The sound is clear and crisp at even high volume levels. I’ll eventually move it into my living room to sync with my Samsung TV using the Q-Symphony feature. With Q-Symphony, all audio channels are optimized so the speakers work together to operate as one to create a really nice surround sound. My only complaint is at this price point, I was hoping for a digital photo display versus just a standard picture frame for displaying a print.

One of the best parts of this Music Frame is that it doesn’t look like a speaker… but, boy, does it sound like one! This was definitely a good way for me to get the sound I was looking for, but not upset the aesthetic of our living room… thus avoiding the need for an attorney. The look of the speaker is only one part of its beauty. Its sound is also phenomenal. I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical when I saw the package… a picture frame that doubles a speaker?!?! I assumed that the sound would be compromised. Wow, was I wrong! The sound is rich throughout the entire range… high highs and deep base. If you close your eyes, you’d think you’re listening to an expensive sound system. It truly is a lot of sound from such a small, and attractive, package. If I could make one criticism… actually, it’s more of a suggestion. I would love to see this incorporate a digital picture frame, whereas album cover art could be displayed while music is playing… and when music isn’t on, it could cycle through family photos. All in all, I’m extremely satisfied with the Music Frame… it looks good, and sounds even better. One day, I might even try hanging it on a wall… although I’m happy with it next to my prized meditating puppy (see picture).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always been a fan of the FRAME line of TVs, so I was a bit skeptical when I saw Samsung was branching off into speaker art, and I had absolutely no need to worry because they nailed it with this one! The Sound quality is surprisingly robust for such a small form factor, and I found myself surprised by the Dolby Atmos tracks. I do wish it had some sort of LEd or touch interface instead of using the smart things app which is very finicky with newer products, but besides that, I love it, and would recommend to everyone else. It’s definitely a statement piece and I’ve received a lot of compliments on it!

The detection of the frame speaker came up right away on the television to pair. The sound quality was perfect it was crisp and loud and was easy to control and setup within seconds. The wireless connection to the speaker setup was easy and quick. The atmos dolby sound was amazing I really love the high sound quality coming out of the frame speaker. I highly recommend this to all and anyone in the market for a frame speaker. I only have one connected but will be looking to add another one soon.

Once I received it and used it boy did I do good in buying this Music Frame. I like that it had Alexa enable and also Airplay . I was so happy I could connect it to my Apple TV creating surround sound in a room. I recently decided to put this frame in the restroom and so far haven’t had any issues. PS when I upload a picture to this site it’s says FAIL.

It's elegant, and the fact that it's customizable makes it work with just about any furniture style. There are also different options to mount on the wall, which is quite impressive. The setup was straightforward. It took me about a half an hour to unpack the frame, and sync it with my television. I already have the SmartThings Hub, so I believe that aides in how quickly I was able to connect. The audio is outstanding. The sound is crisp without any echoing/reverb. With the SmartThings Hub I am able to control the equalizer, volume and different connections from my phone. However, I do find that the bass does need a little work. It doesn't sound deep enough for me.

This is a rather large picture frame, and the sound is exceptional. This music frame was not at all hard to set up and it isn't very heavy at all. I am not the best at hooking up electronics and setting them up, but this was super easy to connect to Bluetooth and get going. The sound is phenomenal. I am the type that will go from classical music and love the soft sound ringing in the background as my afternoon delight, but I am a head banger at night and this baby gets so loud. Not only does this have a super sturdy base you can use if you would like it to be a tabletop frame, but it also has a generous number of efficient tools to set this up mounted on the wall. This product is super innovative, and I cannot wait to put my company at awe during the next gathering. Samsung did it again they made another amazing product.
