The only downfall is this thing is heavy and it is a bit large. The need for a dedicated circuit is a bit of a pain as well

Being from the Midwest, and a city where we’re proud of our BBQ (we think we’re number 1 in the US!), I had to try out this indoor smoker. I’ve frequently used smokers over the last 15 years from old school to new/advanced. I have to say this one tops them all. Upon arrival, I was impressed how compact it was yet it has plenty of room for smoking a whole brisket, racks of ribs, or wings. I’ve tried out some smoked wings and a brisket on separate occasions. Let’s start with set up: - the app took minutes to set up - the app is bi-directional meaning you can SEND COMMANDS to the smoker and adjust it while being away from the kitchen - the pellets come in different flavors and have been wonderful so far Set up: - the smoker turns on and has its settings prompted right away with recommendations - it takes seconds to add pellets, water, insert the thermometer and START! It’s amazing watching the action take place from behind the window and if you ever want to air out the smoke in the smoker you simply can. Our smoker was next to our window but it didn’t give our home any trouble for the air quality. We keep an air purifier nearby and it never dropped below 90%. The recommended settings worked out perfectly as I had nothing to adjust. My family tried the meat without knowing I had a new smoker and received nothing but praise and compliments. It’s officially passed the test and surpassed all my top quality smokers that are outside. During the winter; this will be used weekly as we’re excited to replicate all of our favorite dishes. This is simply a must have. It’s the best, priced competitively, easy to clean, and simply revolutionary in this space. Just wow. This will make a great gift for anyone who is interested in the smoking hobby! We highly recommend it!

I am thoroughly amazed at how easy the indoor smoker is to use. On the day I received mine, I was able to make a batch of pulled pork from pork butt, and the taste was amazing! I highly recommend this smoker to anyone out there who wants to get into smoking meats, vegetables, or anything else, but doesn’t have the space or ability to smoke outside all year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sorry for the lengthy review but I wanted to cross all the t's and dot the i's. I did get this item for free from Tryit to review and I am very well versed in bbq, so it was perfect for me. Pro's: It's the first indoor smoker so it is extremely convenient especially in New Jersey Winter months. It is part of the GE Profile line so it has the sleek exterior you'd expect. It is very easy to understand and get going and it comes with a small bag of pellets to do your first cook upon unboxing. It fits under a standard cabinet counter space, however it is 1500 Watts, so it needs it's own circuit on a standard wall outlet. You can just unplug anything else in the outlet and use it just fine. The space inside is limited but in my opinion you can fit alot if space correctly. It comes with a probe that stores easily on the side of the unit, and my favorite part is that it can cook until the probe temperature is reached and then it automatically switches to keep warm so you don't need to babysit it. Cons: Even though it fits on the counter just fine, in my case it takes up alot of space since I'm limited on counter space in my home. This IS a smoker, so although it's been made safe for indoors, you do smell quite a bit of smoke throughout the cook. I cooked a turkey breast with a smoke intensity of 5, the highest, and it was my first cook on the unit so maybe it was also burning off the initial fumes from the unit. It only comes with a small bag of pellets, so be sure to get some more for extended cooks. The bag of Kona pellets it comes with got me through a 4 hour turkey breast cook no problem though and still many left to go in the unit housing. Overall I'd highly recommend this! It's the first of its kind and did not disappoint. As I mentioned I'm pretty well versed in BBQ and I prefer this over my outdoor unit any day. The meat was flavorful, tender, and juicy. Cleanup was very easy!

This is absolutely a great smoker. I’ve only made two things that was not incredible. I have smoked turkey legs and wings, chicken legs and wings, salmon, macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, a russet potato, hamburgers, jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese wrapped in bacon, peach cobbler, and apple cobbler. The aroma while food is smoking is amazing, I used the probe that came with the anppliance and a MEATER 2 thermometer. The meat has been tender and juicy. This is my favorite appliance!! The only con is the price but I think if you use it, it is worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GE Profile indoor smoker and I am totally in love. On Thanksgiving we made the most delicious, juicy , smoked turkey breast. And the other day I made my famous mac and cheese in the smoker and it was eating all in one night , it was so good. Cooks all our favorites .This smoker is very easy to use. Also an easy clean up. The pellets are perfect and give off a lot of flavor. You would think you were at a real BBQ place with this product. No smoke throughout my house. Can't wait to try out even more recipes. This has to be my most favorite appliance. I highly highly recommend this brand and product. You won't be disappointed, you'll be the neighborhood favorite.

Made a bunch of cooks in it and definitely fulfills my need for smoked food while confined to an apartment. I have made brisket, ribs, and chicken in it and can definitely taste the smoke flavor and the auto warm feature is really convenient for longer cooks like brisket. Cleaning the unit after cooking is pretty easy but does take more time and frequent cleans than other tabletop appliances.

I have never smoked anything so I was a little intimidated by this however the easy to follow directions and recipes made it so easy to use. We ended up making lamb with the recipe in the book that turned out delicious. The smoker comes with some preset settings and the ability to customize your cooking settings. The temperature probe lets you know when your meat is cooked to your preference. I’m really enjoying this smoker and can’t wait to make my next dish.
