The flavor of the fish was very mild though, there was no aroma while cooking which is common for this type of fish. Overall, it was a good quick fish meal. I ended up baking these didn't get much grease from them, which is always a good thing.

They weren't too oily and I loved that they were a little flaky. They're also sold for a great price! The only thing I didn't love is that they're fairly high calorie for fish, but it does taste really good!

After cooking in both the oven and air fryer, both options resulted in perfectly crispy coating with great flaky fish inside.

I prepared them in an air fryer but they look and taste like they were deep fried. When we don't have a lot of time to cook we use deli prepared cole slaw, pasta salad or potato salad and just throw some Gortons Fish Fillets in the air fryer for 12 minutes.

The price is also a bit cheaper than having to buy 3+ smaller boxed sizes too! It also has a nice & crispy texture on the outside & the inside has flakey pieces of fish that are still moist & not all dried out even with the crust being cooked golden brown or even well done! Overall I am very pleased with this brand & type of fish & definitely prefer it over the crunchy crust versions! So if you like fish fillets with a crispy crust then you gotta give it a try!
