[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pantene Pro-V Miracles Abundant and Strong Scalp & Root Serum is a leave-in treatment formulated to reduce hair shedding and strengthen roots. It is lightweight and does not leave my hair weighed down or looking greasy. It is packaged in a bottle with a dropper dispenser which makes it easy to apply it directly to the scalp. It is watery in texture and has a menthol scent and sensation that I do not find overbearing. It is formulated with niacinamide and B5. Niacinamide improves circulation and strengthens hair follicles. B5 strengthens, moisturizes and improves hair elasticity. I have been using this product along with the shampoo and conditioner, and I have in fact noticed less fallout since starting this regimen. Of course there can be many factors involved, but I haven't changed anything else except for starting all 3 products. The price is very affordable, I will definitely continue to use it.

As a woman of a certain age, I've been noticing fitting of hair around my temple areas. I use this product daily by applying a dropper full of serum directly to my scalp and rubbing it in. I did notice a little bit of crustiness in my hair if I did not rub the product in so I was diligent about doing that. Overall, I do think it's too early to see results since it does take care a while to regrow. But I'm committed to seeing it through and hopeful that my temples will fill in.

In conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner it was hard to tell what did what so I am now testing this on its own. It is very light weight not sticky or oily. I couldn’t feel it on my scalp or in my hair at all which I appreciate. There wasn’t much of a scent and the packaging was great very easy to use. I am still testing it out so I’m not 100% sold that it’s making much of a difference.

My hair now is softer and shine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so eager to try this Pantene Pro-V Miracles Abundant & Strong Shampoo & Conditioner bundle and so excited I got picked for the program. Right away I tried it that same night I received it. Read the bottles and followed instructions. At first use I was still happy and looking forward to seeing a positive difference in my hair. The smell was nice, very Pantene-ish. I made sure to take before and after picks and they will show what I am explaining here. I started this bundle on 1/5 and I am comparing it to my last picture on 2/20. The results are very noticeable but not in a positive way. Unfortunately, I felt like this dried out my hair, did not make it manageable, made the damage even more noticeable, and it made it look so dull and rough. After brushing it, it became frizzy. It took shine spray and other products, plus heat, to make it look decent. I am so incredibly sad because Pantene has always done me good but this set was a complete let down for me.

The scent doesn’t last long, however. I have extremely oily hair, so I’m always worried about using add-ins, but this did not leave my hair or scalp feeling greasy or weighed down at all. I have noticed less shedding while blow drying. But I go through phases of shedding, so I can’t confidently say it was solely because of the serum. Either way, I plan to continuously use and would re-purchase!
