[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to test out the new Pantene abundant and strong collection because I already use a couple of their deep conditioning and mask products and absolutely love them. So when this system came out I got excited because it's supposed to help strengthen your hair and reduce breakage, while also promoting growth. But what I found was the opposite, and I don't know if that's because of the product or just because of the circumstances with the dry winter weather at the moment. What I found was that after almost 2 months (to the day) of using this system, my hair is actually way less silky, way more unruly, more difficult to manage, dry all the time, always tangled (when it never was before), I can feel stands snapping when I brush, and I have noticed a significant amount of breakage around my hairline as my hair and bangs used to lay super nicely but now just stick straight up with lots of little broken bits. And I know for certain these aren't hairs that are new growth because they are a variation of shades of blonde and brown that were used when I got my hair dyed back in November (it's now February). Ultimately, I stopped using the shampoo and conditioner to pick up my old routine in hopes to save my hair, but I maintain the use of the Daily Scalp And Root Serum because I do think that product in particular is working well as the amount of shedding I normally have hasn't changed much. I do enjoy the scent of the collection and the feel of the products, but the proof is in the pictures...and my hair just doesn't like these products.

The little melting pearls were a pleasant surprise. The formula is thick, and definitely helped detangle my hair. It left my hair feeling soft and shiny. I could easily run my fingers through it after brushing, despite all my split ends. The packaging is an easy to squeeze tube. It also had a pleasant scent that wasn't too overpowering.

The serum is easy to apply and very lightweight and absorbs quickly. As a mom of two i am finally getting back to my normal routine and this has boost my confidence and made my hair look fuller, healthier and cared for. This did not irritate my scalp which is a must for me and smells wonderful. This will be go to serum from now on.

It's light and doesn't grease the hair. I'm definitely noticing changes in my hair, mostly the ones in front that were a little battered. Its fragrance is soft and has good effects, the results are noticeable quickly.

This stuff comes out with a dropper and goes directly on the scalp. It works to strengthen your hair as it grows. At 37, I am definitely looking to keep my hair thick and healthy and I have noticed a difference since using this serum. With a slightly fruity/floral fragrance this makes my hair smell decadent while helping it look its best. I love it!
