You section your hair, drop it along the scalp and massage it in and leave it on. no rinsing. It's lightweight and doesn't leave your hair greasy which I was worried about! There's a mind cooling sensation when you apply it which is kind of nice. The fragrance really is pleasant too. It's not too overpowering at all. I can't say I've seen dramatic results but I do feel like my hair has gotten healthier. Would I buy it again? Yeah probably.

My hair is really thin right now and I have alopecia so I wasn't expecting to see drastic results and I don't think that I did but it did make my hair look shiny and healthier!
