It smells too much like alcohol to my liking, but it does have that cooling effect that even helps my scalp feel a bit relaxed. It does help with hair growth I have noticed a lot of baby hairs come out and it didn't make me itch or flaky. I love the package the colors and the amount of product in this bottle. I did still se a lot of hair loss though but gradually it was less and less. The volume left on my hair is great I did notice my hair was less frizzy, more smooth and shinny.
