It makes my hair give off that fresh scent. I typically don't like using products outside of the shower because I feel it makes my hair look greasy but after using this root serum I would say it enhances by making my hair smooth and shiny as well as strengthening the roots. My hair is on the dry and fine side and I felt it helped protect my hair. Will definitely continue using!

I think the tingle provides the thought of it's working. I'm not sure but I did like it. I think the packaging is superb and the dispensing of the product wasn't wasteful. There is no greasy feel. I would liken the texture to like a very loose gel.
