This is an impressive appliance that makes decent smoked foods accessible in the kitchen. It's not an offset smoker, but it does the job. It will be interesting to see how it holds up over the coming months and years (obviously it is technically more complex than the typical outdoor smoker, with both electronic controls and an air scrubber to remove smoke). The order of setup and the instructions for initial use were not really organized well. I found myself going back and forth between pages to be sure I was doing the initial setup steps in the right order. The first thing I wanted to try was smoked chicken wings. Finding the setting for chicken wings was really easy. Just turn the dial and push the dial then press start. Super easy. The cook time was a bit longer than I thought it would be but once you set it and go find something to do it really goes by quick. While smoking, I was amazed that the house didn't smell like something was smoking. How does it do that?! The ventilation system is really good. And the flavor of those wings were so good. Although there are other recipes in the recipe book that came with the smoker that I will one day try, I will likely just use it to smoke my chicken wings bc that flavor was amazing. Cleanup was easy. The waste bin is located conveniently in the front. So is the pellet bin. Disposing the used wood pellets was easy and mess-free. Reloading the pellets was simple and clean. The door is secure and opens smoothly and quietly. It operates quietly, as well. This is a high quality device. Also, connecting to the internet was also a breeze. There's an app that gets you easily connected to wifi. I don't really need the remote access to it because of the amount of time it takes to smoke food but its's a really cool app and I love having the latest technology. Overall, this appliance is fantastic. It also very nice looking. It add so much sophistication to my counertop.

I've always wanted a smoker like one of these in the past so when I got an opportunity to give it a try, I was excited. I love how easy it was to setup on my kitchen counter. The directions were a little confusing however was not too difficult to follow. It heats up pretty fast. All the features makes it very easy to get that perfect cook. I was also amazed at the ventilation system and how well it worked! Best part, the clean up was easy!

I’ve never saw anything like this before.It makes the best smoked food that I can cook right in my Kitchen and it doesn’t smoke my house up!It fit 3 slabs of ribs perfectly in there!There are no additional filters to replace or clean. Best part is you connect it to Wi-Fi and it has an app it’s very easy to set up and it allows me to be fully in control of it! Perfect size it doesn’t take up alot of space either!

Made a 4lb brisket and chicken thighs so far. Absolutely incredible and I can honestly say I was surprised at just how well it did. The smell in the house is minimal and it holds temperature perfectly. I did chicken at a 2 on smoke and a 5, and the difference was actually very pronounced. All in all unless this thing gives out on me for no reason in the next year I have to give it a 10/10. The only improvement for me would be a Bluetooth temp probe so I don't have that cable, but that's a minor gripe and I could just use my own if I wanted.

After using it for 6 months it is the appliance that I love most. Use it every week, and the foods is good, smoky and tender. My family love the food that come out from it. I live at an apartment, and it is ideal for small spaces. Compared to an outdoor smoker this one is 10 times more advanced, it's like comparing a old truck to a Ferrari, no comparison at all. The GE Smoker is at a next level, yes, not as potent as a wood burning outdoor smoker but I can't use those at my apartment, and GE is simpler, set it and forget it and get the yummy food some hours later, yes you can remove, and wrap the food, etc., etc. all the same as any other smoker and cook the same as any other smoker. The big difference is that it uses the pallets to create smoke, not to create heat, the heat is created by electricity, so it is more consistent, and the smoke is great and controllable. It can be set to pre stored cooking cycles like brisket, ribs, etc. or just customize the time and temperature by yourself. The size is just right for me and my family. It is simple to use and simple to clean, great result all the time. Connected to the phone you always know what's going on and what need to be done. I love it. It is expensive compared to other smokers, but in my opinion, it is worth it.

One thing I don’t like about it though is that I do smell a wood smell throughout my house when I am using it. I feel like that kind of defeats it’s purpose because I thought you wouldn’t smell the smoke in the house. I also noticed with this Vs a regular smoker the Smokey flavor didn’t penetrate the food completely. I actually like that because when I have tried to smoke cheese usually it taste too strong but with this ge smoker it was just the right amount of Smokey. All in all if your not able to have a full size smoker and don’t mind a Smokey smell while using this is a great alternative.

The Indoor Smart Smoker from GE Profile managed to make an impression though, because it’s now a new favorite hobby. We grill and BBQ often, and have a large outdoor smoker and grill that we must brave some currently nasty weather in order to use. If it’s summertime, it’s just as bad except mosquitoes are attacking you instead of frostbite. Terrible weather is no longer an excuse now, and we wholeheartedly recommend this small-space friendly indoor smart smoker to transform almost any kind of food into a mouthwatering sensation. The best part is that while this appliance stands up to even the most seasoned chef, a novice who can’t cook (me, in this situation) can also whip up some delicious food with this invention’s help.
