I honestly didn’t know what to expect from it because an indoor smoker just sounds interesting but it blew me and my husband away. We have been smoking stuff all month long, stuff I didn’t even know you could smoke I’ve been tying out, like different cheeses and olives maybe others know have done this but to someone who has no experience smoking food it’s been a blast. The first thing we went with was a pork shoulder and it came out so tender with just the right amount of smokiness to it. You could hear the machine cycling the pellets but it’s not loud at all, I was worried the house would get smoky and position the machine next to the window just in case but that never happened. The smell fills the house just like baking something in the oven and it’s very pleasant. This has been the best thing we’ve added to our kitchen and I’m so excited to keep trying out new recipes.

I’m really impressed with the build quality of this smoker—it looks fantastic in my home. The smoke flavor is amazing, and the pellets work great. Cleaning is a breeze, and the controls are intuitive and easy to use. The performance, temperature control, and cooking capacity are all excellent, making it a top-notch choice for indoor smoking.

Just a quick public service announcement about the GE Indoor Smoker: there’s a major issue where it can get stuck in preheat mode and never actually start smoking. The chamber heats up like it should, but for some reason, it doesn’t transition from preheating to being ready to smoke. This happened to me after only four uses, and after digging around online, I found that it’s not just me - plenty of others have run into the same problem. It’s a real disappointment because I was really enjoying the smoker. But now, I’m questioning the quality control - this seems to be happening way too often. Bottom line: buyer beware. You might end up with a lemon like I did. Hopefully, GE steps up and fixes this issue for good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is absolutely amazing! At first, the instructions were a little hard to follow. But after getting through them, it couldn't be any easier to use! I've smoked ribs and have also smoked brisket in it since getting it. Everything came out perfect and so tender. It's like a crockpot but 10 times better! You can really just leave it there and let it do its work and not have to worry about it until you need to flip it over. I'm so glad I can now get that great smoked flavor without having to go outside to do it! I am truly in love with this thing and plan on cooking soooooooo much more in it!

I’ve never saw anything like this before.It makes the best smoked food that I can cook right in my Kitchen and it doesn’t smoke my house up!It fit 3 slabs of ribs perfectly in there!There are no additional filters to replace or clean. Best part is you connect it to Wi-Fi and it has an app it’s very easy to set up and it allows me to be fully in control of it! Perfect size it doesn’t take up alot of space either!

Overall the unit works pretty well. Like any smoker there's a learning curve for it. The only 1 star ding is for the waste bin that won't stay shut and keeps slipping forward. I had to secure that with a bit of painters tape to keep it from triggering the 'open bin' alert.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simply unbelievable. The kitchen smells like BBQ but there is not one puff of smoke outside this machine. And it smokes great!!! The machine is easy to use and has presets for those who are experienced. If you make a change (temp, time, smoke, etc) it will remember it for the next time (yes, you can reset if you need to). When it is done cooking, the temp drops and it goes into warm mode. No more waking up in the middle of the night to time the cooking right. I could not be happier

I am thoroughly amazed at how easy the indoor smoker is to use. On the day I received mine, I was able to make a batch of pulled pork from pork butt, and the taste was amazing! I highly recommend this smoker to anyone out there who wants to get into smoking meats, vegetables, or anything else, but doesn’t have the space or ability to smoke outside all year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this counter top wood smoker because it’s very easy to use. One thing I don’t like about it though is that I do smell a wood smell throughout my house when I am using it. I feel like that kind of defeats it’s purpose because I thought you wouldn’t smell the smoke in the house. I also noticed with this Vs a regular smoker the Smokey flavor didn’t penetrate the food completely. I actually like that because when I have tried to smoke cheese usually it taste too strong but with this ge smoker it was just the right amount of Smokey. All in all if your not able to have a full size smoker and don’t mind a Smokey smell while using this is a great alternative.

I was very skeptical about this product , but luckily this smoker has been a blessing!! It’s not going to give you the same smoke from an offset but it’s pretty darn close in flavor from a pellet smoker. Cleaning is a pain but it’s an indoor smoker what do you expect. I haven’t done a brisket yet but ribs, chicken, chuck roast, steaks, jalapeño poppers and pork belly have all came out wonderful in this smoker. Just remember To rotate the racks because it does get hot at the bottom as per instructions say. Overall great smoker for indoors especially if you live in an apartment complex or you just don’t wanna go outside to smoke!!!
