These razors have like a soap around the blade and keeps it soapy while I shave my face. It also makes it feel better than just using water.

On top of that, I usually get ingrown hairs/razor burns with wet shaving. However, I haven't run into either issues with this razor. I've even seen a reduction in acne. Huge fan. The blades are more expensive than other Gillette blades but its the top of the range, so its to be expected. The razor is a good design but it does not shave close enough and leaves patches. Let me explain. The top and bottom pads are raised way higher than the blades themselves which in my opinion is the reason for the bad performance.

The magnet stand is a nice feature, I am able to stand it up in a drawer so it can dry nicely. This razor really plowed through several days of heavy stubble and I didn't get cut myself!

This razor is very smooth on my face and does not get hair stuck between the blades like some other razors I have used in the past.
