I have owned quite a few in this range over the past 25 years; With each iteration not as well-designed as the previous. In this iteration, the model is accompanied by 2 G3 brush heads. But the travel case (USB Chargable) does not allow any brush head to fit properly.

It is top-notch and so many great features! Between the Sonicare app, the charging travel case, 4 modes with 3 various intensities and 21-day battery life, I was blown away by the amount of technology. Not only does it live up to the hype, but it truly leaves your teeth squeaky clean. I will never go back to a standard electric toothbrush after using this next-generation version. It is gentle and effective. Worth the somewhat steep price tag in my honest opinion.

I especially like the visible pressure alert (light at the bottom of the brush) that lets you know if you are brushing too hard, and the charging travel case is very convenient. It's equipped with four different cleaning modes. I have also been using the app with it, which has been very helpful. It has a timer that counts down, depending on what mode you are using. It also shows you what area of the mouth that you should be focusing on, while your cleaning. The app was easy to install and so far I've enjoyed using it.

It is less bulky than the Sonicare toothbrushes I have had in the past which makes it easy to travel with. Within a few days I noticed a difference in my teeth after using the white setting. The toothbrush is best used with the Sonicare app which ensures you are brushing your teeth properly and includes tips and other useful information. I was impressed with the battery life as I was able to make multiple short trips and didn’t have to worry about charging my toothbrush. I am told every time I go to see the dentist that I am putting to much pressure on my teeth when brushing. Since using this toothbrush along with the Sonicare app I am able to see in real time if I am applying to much pressure. I have been getting better at applying pressure and the app shows that. The app even shows how many uses the brush head has until it needs to be replaced. Phillips even makes traveling with the toothbrush easy. The brush comes with a travel case that is chargeable. I have found that the brush holds a charge for at least two weeks brushing twice a day. In the three weeks since I have been using the brush I have noticed less plaque build up and just an overall cleaner, heathier mouth. The only thing that took me a while to get use to is the size of the brush head. My mouth is small and it felt awkward the first few days of using it. I love that you can set a variety of settings that fit your oral health needs (clean, sensitive, white, gum health). The accompany Phillips Sonicare app is also great to use, because the toothbrush is Bluetooth enabled and allows you to sync up your usage. I do not mind having it out on my counter, that's for sure. The brush has a nice weight to it and fits well into my hand. All of the controls are extremely accessible and make it very easy to not only choose the type of clean you want, but also make it easy to change the intensity as well. I also really enjoyed the brush head. The back of the brush is rounded and has a nice texture to it that fits comfortably between my teeth and inside of my cheek. The final feature that I really enjoy is the pressure sensor. The bottom of the brush lights up and alerts you when you are pressing too hard while brushing. I would recommend this to anyone on the hunt for their new favorite toothbrush!
