Super high quality, easy to set up and put away

I had another similar play yard from another brand and this one is such better quality! I could tell immediately upon putting it together. The side pads are super soft and cushiony, and the play yard is sturdy and well-made. I use the bassinet part for my baby to sleep in and when my baby is old enough the lower level will be perfect for him to nap and do play time. The sides are mesh which is great since it's breathable and I can keep an eye on baby while doing other things. This was really easy to put together and it folds really compact so it's great for travel. Overall I am super impressed and would recommend this to other moms.

Great modern play yard

I received this play yard for free in exchange for my honest opinion. This max-cosi swift play yard is a great option for traveling with my 11 month old. The pack and play we had been using was more narrow and flimsy feeling. He never wanted to sleep in it. After trying this one, we were content with the space that he had to move around. It is very modern and sleek looking which is nice if you are going to have it out. The materials feel very sturdy and seem like great quality. The bend in the pad is quite noticeable however, going right down the middle. It is quite large in the travel bag too. However, if you are looking for a high end play yard that's safe for your baby to be in- this is it.

Really like it

We have a traditional pack and play, and my mother in law bought us a expensive travel crib that we don't love. I really like the swift play yard. It is cozy, and I love the all in one bassinet, and play yard/toddler bed. It is a easy set up, and feels incredibly sturdy. I find the muted colors really nice, and the fabric to be of high quality.

Ingenious design and high quality. Easy setup!

I was completely blown away by how easy this was to setup and break down. No fussing with trying to fit it back into the travel bag. Love the ingenious bassinet cover and that the mattress zips in half to fit the bassinet attachment. Wish we had this sooner!! The quality of the materials and sleek design are perfect for our home and our baby. We love!!

We love it!

The play yard was very easy to set up and easy to use. My little one keeps falling asleep in here and quicker than anything else! It's very sturdy and built strong enough to take with you. We are definitely interested in getting more products from this brand

Must have for parents

It is easy to assemble.I use it everywhere I travel as it is lightweight and easy to fold quickly .It can be used as bassinet for babies by attaching the top, fitted section. It grows with babies and can be used for naps or play time. The mattress has a firmer infant side, and a softer toddler side.Fabric is easy to clean. With mesh sides you can easily keep an eye on your baby without disturbing.

Great

This is a beautiful play pen. Not to mention practical. If you're like me, I struggle just assembling anything for babies. And this was a breeze to set up by myself with a squiggly toddler. It was soft and a great place to put baby down. Great size! And easily compacts and can be stowed away. Definitely plan on using this on future traveling tips.

Esthetics 10/10, but…

The swift play yard is esthetically pleasing and super easy to set up and take down, but the mattress is uncomfortable for my baby which makes sleeping in a new environment while traveling even more challenging. The mattress inserts have these awkward folds that line up with where my baby’s head typically rests while sleeping. That along with the firmness makes it challenging for my baby to stay comfortable for long. I was hoping to purchase a mattress insert, but the unique size is making it challenging to find one that will fit correctly (safely) within the pack and play. I wish I had of thought more about comfort when purchasing this rather than buying for style.

Thanks for your review! We're sorry to hear the play yard fell vastly short of your expectations.

An Organized Mamma's Dream

My husband and I have four children 6 and under and the top two requirements for the baby gear that we buy is that it be durable and easy to use! The last Pack n Play we purchased was 7 years ago for our first child, which will be my point of reference to base my review for the Swift Play yard. -Lightweight: The first thing that I noticed is that the Swift Play Yard was easy for me to carry in one arm and is not excessively bulky. I am able to carry the play yard in its carrying case in one arm and my baby in the other. Our old pack n play weighs twenty pounds! No wonder I loathed having to lug it around. The Swift play yard weighs approximately 18 pounds, but its sleek design and the two pounds less seemed to make a big difference. -Ease of Use: The play yard folds up to store away and sets up for baby to play almost in one smooth motion. To open for use, is a little tricky at first. The play yard folds inward to be more compact which was hard for me to get used to at first, but after several uses it became second nature to open and close. To store away, after removing the mattress, pull up on the center and it easily tucks away. Durable and Stylish: The mattress does have some nice cushion to it and it seems to me, to be more comfortable for baby. I let her sit and play in our old pack and play and she didn't seem to care one way or the other regarding the firmness of the mattress (she is 8 months old). I love the details on the Swift Play Yard! The fabric for the bassinet feels very durable and is a modern dark gray. The support poles on the side are metal, but are wrapped to look like a soft wooden color, which does not look like faux wood unless one is looking very closely. It also does not have big bulky wheels similar to our old version, which I seemed to often stub my toes on. Ouch! Organization: The Swift Play Yard makes my type A heart So very happy. There is a pocket for the instruction manual built in to the back of the mattress so that I can easily find it and reference it when necessary. The instruction booklet has very easy to follow photo instructions. The use of the zipper to make the one mattress function for two purposes (bassinet mattress and play yard mattress) made for easy storage. The storage bag was perfect for the bassinet, when not in use and for the second half of the mattress when the bassinet was being used. The handles on the carrying bag worked well for traveling. Cons Mattress: I do wish that the mattress was a darker gray color, similar to the bassinet fabric. It is a light color which shows stains easily. It does wipe clean, but after several uses the mattress already shows signs of spills, spit up, etc Cost: It is much pricier than our older model, by at least a hundred dollars. I would pay more than our last pack n play for the lighter and easier to maneuver Swift Play Yard. Handle: The two carrying handles are nice for short distance carrying. It would be nice to have a shoulder strap for longer distance carrying or for free hands to carry the baby at the same time. It would also be nice to have a handle ideal for hanging the Play Yard system up on the wall in storage instead of just on the floor. Overall, this play yard helps to make me one happy mama. Following four small children all day can be cumbersome, but this play yard adds one extra convenience to my daily routine. Baby is happy playing in the play yard with her toys and able to see her siblings. I can fairly easily fold up the mattress with the toys in it and move the mattress in one arm and the play yard in the other. This is extremely helpful in quickly transitioning from playing inside to taking the baby outside with the big kids. I love how easy this play yard compacts to fit through doorways!

Easy and Sturdy!

When first opening the Swift Play Yard, I didn't immediately notice much of a difference from other similar travel-style products (other than that it really fit my personal aesthetic preferences better than any I've ever seen). Pros: Once I set it up, the difference became clear. The set up and take down are a breeze! No fussing with annoying multi‐joint breakdown processes. It's all in one and literally takes just a few seconds. Once set up, it is much sturdier than competitor products and the mattress piece is softer than others I've had. It doesn't wiggle as much when my 1 year old rolls over, which leads to much better sleep! We all know that's the ultimate win. Neutral factors: Size and weight seem similar to other comparable products. It's big enough for my child to sleep in confortably, but definitely not big enough that my one year old wants to stay and play in it. So "play yard" may be a bit misleading. Cons: My only potential con is one that hasn't even been confirmed yet. That carrying case is very snug fit and seems a bit thin to me. So I fear it will split/break sooner than I'd like. But only time will tell. Overall- excellent product that is sturdy, quick and easy to use, and gorgeous!
