Easy to use and newborns love it!
My newborn loves this play yard. He is actually sleeping in it! He will not go down in his bassinet.
Stylish Roomy and Travel Friendly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of the Maxi-Cosi Swift Play Yard has been extremely positive. I really love the size — it’s very roomy and gives my baby plenty of space to move, play, and rest comfortably. The stylish 3-in-1 design is both practical and beautiful, and the lightweight frame makes it easy to move around the house without feeling bulky. We mostly use it at home, but last weekend we also took it with us when visiting family, and it traveled so easily. The setup and fold-down process is quick and effortless, which makes a big difference in everyday life. Overall, I don’t have any regrets at all — it’s been a great addition to our routine and something I genuinely enjoy using.
The Cutest High Quality Play Yard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this play yard from the Stellar Testing Panel—and wow! It is absolutely beautiful and high quality. Assembly took about five minutes and was very simple. The fabric is incredibly soft and well made. I received the “Coral” pattern, which is adorable without being visually overwhelming. It features small baby animal families (polar bears, giraffes, rabbits, and more) and works perfectly for either a boy or a girl. We're currently using it in our living room, and it truly adds to the space. The wooden legs, charcoal gray liner, and leather Maxi-Cosi tag give it a very high-end feel. The frame is sturdy, yet the entire play yard is lightweight and easy to move. It stays firmly in place, which I really appreciate with two big brothers running around. It also folds down easily and comes with a convenient storage bag, making it great for travel. I definitely plan to bring it along on our next family trip. My daughter is 7 months old and weighs about 17 pounds, and she still fits comfortably in the top section in bassinet mode since she's not yet pulling herself up. She loves the soft mattress pad, and I feel confident using this play yard for nap time. The mesh sides provide great airflow and visibility, and the mattress lays completely flat. My favorite features are the comfortable mattress and soft fabrics that are machine washable (lifesaver!) I also love how spacious it is without taking up too much room in our small living room. I absolutely love this play yard and would 100% recommend it for both babies and toddlers.
A Beautifully Designed Lightweight Play Yard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this play yard from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out in my home, and after using it regularly, it genuinely feels like a step above most play yards I’ve used. The design was the first thing that stood out to me. The neutral fabric and wood-tone accents blend seamlessly into our living space, which I really appreciate since this is something that stays out most of the time. It doesn’t feel bulky or out of place, and it looks more like a piece of furniture than typical baby gear. I just love how functional yet refined this feels. It’s spacious enough for play, movement, and toys without taking over the room. Setup was simple and intuitive, and once assembled, the play yard feels sturdy and well made. Despite that solid construction, it’s surprisingly lightweight, which makes moving it around the house easy without it feeling flimsy or unstable. The mesh sides allow for good airflow for and visibility of my little one, and the padded top rail adds an extra layer of comfort and safety once he starts standing up. The mattress fits well and lays mostly flat, creating a stable space for play. I also liked that it includes a bassinet option for smaller babies, which adds flexibility early on. It would be the perfect spot for naps by the window in the main living space while you get some laundry folded in those early months. That said, beyond that, it doesn’t come with additional accessories or attachments, which feels like a small missed opportunity at this price point. In the photos, I’ve placed a stretchy mini crib sheet over the mattress. While it fits fairly well, I would love to see the brand offer washable mattress covers in different colors to match the play yard’s aesthetic. It would be both practical and a nice way to personalize the look. When it comes to everyday use, the lightweight design is a big plus, but I do wish it had wheels to make repositioning it even easier from room to room. This would pair especially well with how light it already is and would make quick adjustments during the day that much easier. When folded for storage or travel, the play yard stays compact and easy to lift; however, the handles on the storage bag are just a bit too short, which makes it slightly awkward to carry. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something I noticed during real-world use. Overall, this feels like a premium play yard designed with real homes and real routines in mind. It’s sturdy without being heavy, easy to move, and visually appealing enough to leave out when people come over. It’s definitely a standout option for families who want something functional that also looks great in their space.
Easy open and light weight stylish play yard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maxi Cosi Swift play yard is fantastic to travel with - super lightweight, no assembly needed, unfolds and folds in seconds! It’s larger than most play yards but it’s so light and easy to move around that it can work in most spaces. With the multi use function, it can definitely accommodate our kids for various purposes. My 4 month old has surpassed the bassinet weight limit of the 15 lbs threshold so that function was unable to be used for that long. Both of my kids took their naps on the bottom part and the mattress is by far the comfiest for a play yards. The play yard we were using before had such a thin mattress so no wonder why our baby hated being in it! The side height of this Maxi Cosi Swift play yard is perfect for keeping by my 18 month old safely contained while I need to care for her brother. The sizing is not normal for sheets, it does not come with one and the brand does not recommend one to be used. I find this a little odd for cleanliness as it is only spot dry. The 4 month old’s sleep sack contained his accident but not sure what we would have done for cleanup if it got on the mattress pad. Overall, it is a great option that can grow and accommodate with my kids and is super stylish and most importantly no assembly required, thanks to the Stellar Testing Panel for providing us with this great play yard.
Great looks while maintaining a safe sleep space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play yard was a life saver for us during the holidays. We have twins and this play yard was perfect for us traveling. The main things I love about it is that it is light weight, easily unpack and packs back up and also has a clean modern design. It is simple to unfold and snap into place. The mattress cleans easily which is also a major plus. Earlier in the month we used the bassinet attachment for our baby to sleep, but she recently started rolling so our current trip (right now for christmas) we have her sleeping in the large play yard on the full mattress and it is working great. The mesh walls are breathable which satisfies one of our biggest concerns with sleep spaces During the day we occasionally use it to lay her in when we need to step away and have her nap and also let the twins play in. Anothwr bonus was that we use the top bassinet piece as a changing table so we dont have to do it on the floor. Overall I am very satisfied with this play yard. I received this play yard from the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my honest and unbiased review.
Convenient and Practical
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maxi Cosi Swift Play Yard, gifted to us by the Stellar Product Testing Panel, has been a wonderful and extremely practical addition to our home. Our baby is currently 3 months old and weighs about 13 pounds, and we’ve found the play yard to be incredibly versatile for our daily needs. We primarily use the top level for quick and convenient diaper changes, while the bottom level serves as a spacious area for all-day play. One of the standout features is how easy it is to set up and break down. The play yard packs and unpacks effortlessly, making it an excellent option for road trips, overnight visits, or travel in general. At the moment, we keep it set up in our living room, where it provides a safe, contained space for our little one to play and explore while staying close to us. The overall build quality is very impressive, sturdy, well-crafted, and clearly designed with safety in mind. There is plenty of room for our baby to move around comfortably, and we appreciate that the mattress is rated for safe sleep. It gives us peace of mind knowing that if he happens to take a quick cat nap while inside, he’s resting on a surface designed with safety as a priority. This play yard has proven to be an incredibly convenient baby item, and we would absolutely recommend adding it to a baby registry ahead of time. Between the thoughtful design, sleek style, quality construction, and strong focus on safety, the Maxi Cosi Swift Play Yard meets all of our expectations for products we choose for our child. We fully anticipate continuing to use it as our baby grows, becomes more mobile, and needs a safe space to play. We would definitely recommend it to other families!
Great investment for long term use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this play yard. Overall, I’ve been very impressed with the Maxi-Cosi Swift Play Yard. It feels thoughtfully designed for modern parents who want something functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing without being bulky or complicated. From setup to everyday use, it’s been intuitive and convenient, especially during those moments when you’re juggling a baby and daily tasks. The stylish 3-in-1 design is one of the biggest highlights. I love that it seamlessly transitions between a bassinet, play yard, and toddler sleep space, which makes it feel like a long-term investment rather than a short-lived baby item. The lightweight frame is a huge plus—unlike many traditional play yards, this one is easy to move around the house and doesn’t feel clunky. The neutral, modern look also blends well with home décor instead of screaming “baby gear.” So far, we’ve used the Swift Play Yard primarily at home—in the living room during the day and occasionally in our guest bedroom for naps. It’s also been great for quick setups when visiting family, since it folds down easily and doesn’t take much effort to transport. I can see it being especially useful for travel or overnight stays without needing a separate crib or bassinet. I am excited to take this along to our first overnight trip which will be happening in a month! The feature that stood out to me most is how quickly and effortlessly it sets up and folds down. The one-step fold is a game changer, especially when you’re short on time or dealing with a fussy baby. Not having to wrestle with multiple locks or complicated instructions makes a big difference in daily use.
Easy to put up and love the colors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this pack and play. The wood look details are very cool and feel more elevated than the standard. It was really easy to put up and down - only have to push the center piece down and it pops right into place. This makes it easy to move from room to room, though this will mainly be our downstairs docking spot for baby. I also love that the mattress pad velcros underneath for more stability. The bassinet feature is definitely a feature I will use a ton and will save my back from leaning over with a newborn all the time! The main mattress zips in half to become the bassinet mattress. Another feature I love is that it all folds up compact in a carrying case. I've had others where you have to wrestle it all in and it never seems to fit quite right, but this one was really easy to get in and out and fit perfectly! The only other feature it would be nice to have would be a side zipper, but I expect by the time we would utilize that we would be on to other baby items. This would be a great baby shower gift - a pack and play is an essential and the bassinet gives it double purpose! I was given this play yard to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Great Lightweight Playyard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MaxiCosi Swift Playyard has been a really solid addition to our baby gear. It tcomes ready to use right out of the box, which was a huge plus—no complicated setup or extra parts to figure out. The carrying bag is very convenient and well-designed, and the playyard itself is light enough to comfortably carry with one hand. The setup and takedown of the Swift is incredibly easy. I was able to set it up and take it down while wearing my sleeping baby in a carrier, which honestly says a lot. The simple push-to-unfold design makes it intuitive and user-friendly, so anyone can use it without a learning curve—grandparents, babysitters, or anyone helping out. It’s very lightweight and easily maneuverable, making it simple to move around the house. I also really like the gender-neutral color, which looks great in any space. The sides are generously padded, giving me peace of mind when baby is inside. The only minor issue I ran into was with the bassinet clips—they attach a bit difficultly to the sides so they took a moment to figure out. Once on, they’re secure, but the design wasn’t the easiest to use. Overall, this playyard is going to be great for travel due to its lightweight design, compact fold, and ease of transport. Despite the small learning curve with the bassinet clips, I’d definitely recommend it for parents looking for a simple, portable, and thoughtfully designed playyard. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this play yard.
