My tired back loves this swing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maxi-Cosi swing has a modern and stylish design that I am so happy with. Of course, baby gets plenty of bright and colorful toys but as the swing will be in the middle of my living room, I loved that the grey colors and wood grain color trim make it blend well with our furniture! The most important part is that baby LOVES the swing. The seat has a plump, soft cushion on which baby sits. It also has a belted buckle similar to a car seat so there is no risk of her leaning too far forward. Underneath the cushion is the canvas that attaches to the swing's frame. It's so convenient that the whole thing unzips to allow for washing. Baby had a bad spit up earlier this week and it was easy to unzip it and put it in the wash. She was back on the swing in no time. We have a recliner where I usually sit with baby in the living room and the swing is just a little bit lower than that seat. This means that when she's in the swing she can see me and stays calm for longer. The 360 degree rotation allows me to turn her around and she can then look across the living room and still watch me while I'm in the kitchen and sink. She's at that stage where she has to have me in her sight at all times. Another feature that she loves is the actual swinging function. She loves being rocked and we found that she prefers swinging at speed 4. The swinging has this swivel motion in it that for some reason she really enjoys. When she's excited and looking to play I will keep her in an upright position with a toy. When she's winding down or very close to a nap, I will recline the seat so that she's in more of a lounging position. I put on the gentle music and she is dozing off in no time! When I first took the swing out of the box I was so excited for baby to try it. That quickly turned into disappointment when I realized that I needed a screwdriver and I had no idea where mine was. It would be amazing if the swing included one of those super simple screwdrivers. If you've been at home for a couple of weeks with baby, chances are you no longer remember where the screwdriver you used to put all their furniture together went! Thankfully I found it later in the afternoon and assembling the swing was a breeze. While I knew that baby would like having a swing because of other holders we have tried, I didn't expect her to like it so much. I think I he height of the swing makes a big difference for us. Having the multiple reclining positions also keeps her comfortable. But it's really the rhythmic swinging which was the winner in her book. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this swing, baby is having a blast on it!
Gorgeous swing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Max Cosi Cassia swing is one of the most aesthetically pleasing baby products that I own! The neutral grey tones and wooden accent color are a great touch to any room. This swing is also extremely light weight and portable! It is very convenient to bring to the kitchen to keep an eye on my little one while I cook. Not to mention it can also be battery operated too!! I have also brought this swing to Mimi’s house and the ease of transport was greatly appreciated. This swing has 5 speeds and a 360 function allowing it to rock side to side or front to back. My baby girl loves the front to back function! She also loves the recline function. The buttons on the side allow baby to sit in an upward position or recline. The recline function is great for a nice nap. There are several sound options from nature to classical tunes. Very relaxing music along with the smooth natural swaying of this swing. I feel safe leaving my baby in this swing. Unfortunately the quality of the buckle is poorly made and the buckle part on my swing broke the second time harnessing my baby in. One of the clips snapped off (see picture). That being said, thankfully it still buckles! We have used many times and I have not had an issue with the buckle not clasping or harness coming undone. Thank you to stellar product testing panel for allowing me the privilege of testing out this swing! It has become a staple in our daily routine.
Love love love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this swing. I cannot recommend this swing enough. My daughter is what I like to call a Velcro baby and is not a fan of being put down for any length of time. I love her snuggles but it makes it incredibly difficult for me to do anything. Since receiving the swing I have put her in it multiple times a day to have some hands free time and she LOVES IT. She especially loves the faster setting ( it’s still very gentle). I bring the swing in the bathroom with me and put her in it while I shower and she is as content as can be. The swing is light and can be taken around the house without a problem! One of the very best things about it is how modern and chic it is! We all know that baby gear is normally clunky and just overall an eyesore. I do not feel that way about this swing. In fact I view it more as another piece of pretty furniture in my home. My sister in law is pregnant and due in March and I’m planning on ordering one for her too!
SWINGS SMOOTH AS BUTTER
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it’s a wonderful addition to our baby gear! Initially, I did not think a swing would be as impressive as another product that would have more motions to choose from—BOY, I was wrong! My son is 8 weeks old and this swing is the only place he enjoys being put down. We have another “swing” that has different motions, but this Maxi Cosi is the only one we’ve been able to use to free up our hands. The swinging motion is SO smooth I don’t think he thinks it’s mechanical. The touchpad is easy to navigate through the different swing speeds and melodies, and it’s so handy to rotate him to face wherever I need to be, either in the kitchen or tending to my toddler. My little guy enjoys Level Three the most, as Four and Five are pretty fast! Aside from the swing’s function, it gets extra points for not being an eye sore in our living room. The modern design and wood details fit in perfectly, and the soft fabrics are a nice, sturdy neutral gray that should stand the test of time through multiple kids (and washes!). I highly recommend this swing to any mommas with new babies or babies on the way!
Great Swing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this swing. My overall impression of the Maxi-Cosi Cassia Swing has been extremely positive. It’s one of those baby products that feels both practical and thoughtfully designed, and it quickly became a go-to item in our daily routine. I absolutely love the modern, stylish design. It blends beautifully into our home instead of looking bulky or overly “babyish.” The soft fabrics feel gentle and cozy, and the 360° rotation is a standout feature being able to turn the swing toward me without moving the entire base has been incredibly convenient. Navigating through the five swing speeds and 12 melodies and nature sounds is very intuitive. I appreciated having a variety of options depending on my baby’s mood. Our favorite combination ended up being a mid-range speed paired with one of the calming nature sounds, which helped soothe my little one quickly and consistently. What I liked most about this swing is how well it combines functionality, comfort, and style. It’s easy to use, comforting for baby, and visually pleasing for parents. The Cassia Swing feels like a well-thought-out product that truly supports both baby and caregiver. I would absolutely recommend it to other parents.
Great Swing with Big Footprint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was given this swing to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I did not know exactly what to expect since the swing shares some similarities in shape to other options on the market, so I was curious what differentiates it from the competition. Overall, the swing it cute, safe, comfortable, study, and easy to use. When unboxing, we were immediately drawn to the modern colors and sophisticated overall look and feel of the product. It matches our couch perfectly, making it a natural accent piece of sorts in the living room, versus an eye sore monstrosity of baby swings in bygone eras. Looks are definitely a plus. I am also pleased with the safety of the swing- the frame is solid and stable, the fabric is thick and durable, and the harness is easy to fasten and adjust, keeping baby secure at all times while the swing is in use. It comes with a newborn insert, though you will not need it long; my six month baby is already spilling over the edge with it, so we removed. Even without the insert, the swing's curvature provides a cozy cradling effect, and the shoulder strap pads help make sure there is no rubbing or chafing where the harness contacts baby. Functionally, no complaints with the swing- it does exactly what it is designed to do. You can also rotate the cradle 90 degrees if you want more of a forward and back motion instead of side to side- your baby may welcome this and prefer over other brands that are strictly side to side (this is where the 360 degree of rotation claim comes in- your baby will not spin in a complete circle, but you have the customizability to adjust the motion to the point where you have options all the way around). The buttons are intuitive and adjustments are quick and easy, to the point where I asked my toddler to go turn up the speed and he happily obliged. The biggest critique I have for this swing is the footprint. It takes up a lot of space! The legs are long and far apart, so that is one piece, but you also have to have space for it to move. Practically, it eats up a lot more of your room than you might think. All things considered though, this is a very solid product, baby enjoys, and I would certainly recommend if you want more hands free time while keeping your baby entertained.
Stylish and Convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little swing looks so modern and feels very cozy! The fabric is super soft, and I loved how easy it was to remove the infant insert. Assembly was quick and straightforward, and I really appreciate having the option to use batteries or plug it in. I took a photo right after we put it together and my baby looked so happy. It fits nicely with our home style and does a great job soothing him. Because it’s lightweight, it’s easy to move from room to room using the battery option. One of my favorite features is that the seat rotates 360 degrees, so when I’m moving around the kitchen, I can just turn the seat so he can see me instead of moving the entire swing. I also love that the mobile is adjustable and can be repositioned depending on the incline, making it easier for my baby to see. The faux wood is beautiful and has not scratched at all from moving the mobile. The touch buttons are intuitive, and I didn’t even need the manual to figure everything out. We usually rotate between speeds 3 to 5 depending on my baby’s mood. The sound quality is surprisingly great (clear, not static), especially compared to other swings I’ve used with my first baby. We love the sleepy lullabies! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this beautiful swing. Overall, the flexibility of battery or plug-in use and how easy it is to move or rotate the seat, makes this swing so convenient. It’s a great value and one of our favorite places for our baby to hang out!
An amazing addition to our family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of a three-month-old, my overall impression of the Maxi-Cosi swing has been extremely positive—it feels well-made, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely helpful during our daily routine. I love the modern, stylish look of it; the sleek design and neutral tones fit beautifully into our living space, and the soft, plush fabrics feel cozy and supportive for my baby while still being easy to clean. The 360° rotation is a standout feature because it lets me turn the seat to face me or the room without picking my baby up, which is incredibly convenient and keeps him engaged. Navigating through the five swing speeds and 12 melodies and nature sounds is very simple thanks to the intuitive touchscreen controls, and I can easily adjust settings even one-handed. My little one’s favorite combination has been one of the slower swing speeds paired with a gentle nature sound, which calms him almost instantly. What I like most about this swing is how it combines functionality with style—it’s lightweight, easy to move around the house, soothing for my baby, and attractive enough that it doesn’t feel like bulky baby gear taking over our home. I was gifted the swing from stellar product testing panel for the review.
Perfect Combination of Comfort and Convenience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a working mom with two little kids, I’ve tried many baby products in search of something that met our needs and that our baby actually enjoyed being in. I was given the Maxi Cosi Cassia Swing from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out and it did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded my expectations and our daughter loves this swing. My first impression when unpacking was the beautiful modern aesthetics and the easy assembly. The design is very sleek with wood grain accents and it was put together within minutes. I loved the softness of the insert and my baby looked very comfortable in it! The fact that it has 360 degrees of rotation was a big plus. I appreciated that I could adjust the recline as well as the speeds and sounds to find the most comfortable settings for my daughter. The only thing I would improve on this swing is the mobile- I don’t feel it extends far enough over the seat for my daughter to have a good view of it and therefore she loses interest quickly; however, maybe that will improve as she gets bigger and gains more head control. Overall this swing checks all the boxes from design to practicality and I would highly recommend it to other moms who are looking for a swing that is comfortable, can be adjusted to your babies needs, and looks great in your home!
One of Our Most Used Newborn Essentials
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maxi-Cosi Cassia Swing quickly became one of those baby items I genuinely relied on during the newborn phase. What stood out to me most is how thoughtfully designed it feels — both in function and in how it fits into everyday life with a baby. One of my favorite features is the automatic motion sensor, which detects when baby starts to fuss and activates the swing on its own. It sounds small, but in practice it feels incredibly helpful, especially when your hands are full. I also love the 360-degree rotating seat, which makes it easy to keep baby facing me no matter where I am in the room. The swing offers multiple speed settings and a good variety of sounds and melodies, so it’s easy to adjust depending on your baby’s mood. I appreciated that the motion is gentle and soothing rather than overstimulating. From a practical standpoint, the swing is lightweight, easy to move from room to room, and simple to assemble. The fabrics are soft, modern-looking, and machine washable — a must with a newborn. While it does have a limited usage window like most swings, I found it incredibly valuable during that early stage when having a safe place to set baby down can make a big difference. Overall, the Cassia Swing feels like a well-designed, premium option that prioritizes both baby comfort and parent convenience. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
