It's design is simple but esthetically pleasing to the eye with a natural feel with its wood colored rim. The fabric material is soft and smooth. The buckle is sturdy to keep my child safe. There are 5 different swing speeds with a timer and 12 sounds that include soft music and nature sounds. The Maxi Cosi Cassia Swing was a game changer for my daughter. Prior to testing this swing she would not stay in another. A huge benefit was the fact that she could either be lying down flat or inclined at a safe angle. I have to say though the style of the swing fit the design of my home. The plastic wood finish gave it a sleek design and the softness of the materials and straps made it all the more comfortable for my daughter. I really enjoyed the fact that you could also have it 360 degrees instead of just a front facing while having to turn the whole swing around;this was a very neat feature. Navigating the functions of the swing was very straightforward too! My daughter enjoyed the spread on the 2nd to lowest setting with the natural sounds because it allowed her to focus on her surroundings while also hearing calming music, this soothed her and allowed her to get comfortable enough to nap. Overall this swing was good to the point my daughter enjoys being in it more than my arms! I loved the versatility of the features and the flexibility of how to position the swing. Definitely recommending to my mom friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m on my third baby so I’ve used plenty of swings in the past, and this one by far is the best yet! I, and apparently my baby, really loved the features and settings the swings had to offer. First of all, putting it together was straightforward and easy. The design is very classy and has an upscale look to it, and I appreciated that it matched my current household aesthetic. There is wood like trim around the edges and the dark and light grays were nice together with the wood. Once put together, I put down my fussy baby into the seat and tested out the automatic swing feature on level 2. She is only a few weeks old so I wanted to try a slower speed and she seemed to enjoy that. She didn’t care much for the music so I turned that off. Maybe something she will like as she gets older. I got a solid 30-40 minutes of time before she wanted out, which is amazing being she cries immediately putting her down anywhere else. Installing her in the seat was also straightforward, however the straps were a little difficult to adjust. Not enough to warrant a star off, but definitely had to fidget around with them. My overall impression of the swing is that it is a stylish and quality item that will definitely come in handy over the next few months. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was given this swing to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I did not know exactly what to expect since the swing shares some similarities in shape to other options on the market, so I was curious what differentiates it from the competition. Overall, the swing it cute, safe, comfortable, study, and easy to use. When unboxing, we were immediately drawn to the modern colors and sophisticated overall look and feel of the product. It matches our couch perfectly, making it a natural accent piece of sorts in the living room, versus an eye sore monstrosity of baby swings in bygone eras. Looks are definitely a plus. I am also pleased with the safety of the swing- the frame is solid and stable, the fabric is thick and durable, and the harness is easy to fasten and adjust, keeping baby secure at all times while the swing is in use. It comes with a newborn insert, though you will not need it long; my six month baby is already spilling over the edge with it, so we removed. Even without the insert, the swing's curvature provides a cozy cradling effect, and the shoulder strap pads help make sure there is no rubbing or chafing where the harness contacts baby. Functionally, no complaints with the swing- it does exactly what it is designed to do. You can also rotate the cradle 90 degrees if you want more of a forward and back motion instead of side to side- your baby may welcome this and prefer over other brands that are strictly side to side (this is where the 360 degree of rotation claim comes in- your baby will not spin in a complete circle, but you have the customizability to adjust the motion to the point where you have options all the way around). The buttons are intuitive and adjustments are quick and easy, to the point where I asked my toddler to go turn up the speed and he happily obliged. The biggest critique I have for this swing is the footprint. It takes up a lot of space! The legs are long and far apart, so that is one piece, but you also have to have space for it to move. Practically, it eats up a lot more of your room than you might think. All things considered though, this is a very solid product, baby enjoys, and I would certainly recommend if you want more hands free time while keeping your baby entertained.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maxi Cosi Cassia Swing is an aesthetically pleasing, calming swing that my baby girl enjoyed more than other swings that moved up and down rather than side-to-side. The fabric is beautiful and soft. Overall, the swing looks modern and is very easy to set up and navigate. I enjoy the amounts of choices you have for speed and melodies/sounds (those are actually nice and don’t get annoying after a few minutes or a couple times of use) which I did not have with other swings. My baby enjoys the swing most when set to speed 3 and calming melodies or sounds played in the background (not too loud) while watching me do chores etc. The only slightly negative opinion I have about the swing is its weight limit. While some swings have limits up to 25 lbs, the Maxi Cosi Cassia Swing’s limit is 20 lbs. My girl is on the taller, heavier side, weighing almost 20 lbs with 5 months old. I wish I could use this swing for a bit longer as she seems to really enjoy it (and I get more chores done). Nevertheless, I’d recommend this swing as I like its features, design, soft material, settings, easy setup and navigation, melodies, and the fact that my baby enjoys it and sits in it longer than any swing she has ever tried before! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this swing as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Maxi-Cosi Cassia Swing is incredibly lightweight and very easy to assemble. It is also beautiful, with its wood frame and neutral color palette. The fabric is extremely soft, and we loved the 360-degree rotation feature. It was simple to navigate through the five speeds and 12 sounds. I do feel that the swing is a bit more gentle compared to others my son has used. He seems to prefer a stronger swing, so he struggled a little at times, but this swing would be absolutely perfect for the newborn stage. Our favorite feature was how lightweight it is. We are constantly moving baby items around the house, and being able to easily move this swing between the first and second floors was a huge plus for us. Overall, this is a fantastic swing that I would highly recommend for a newborn.

I liked this swing, from the aesthetic to the luxury material, to the customizable angles this swing has to offer. The swing looks great in my living room and is not an eyesore. Babies are a part of our lives and our baby gear doesn't have to interfere with our home style! The material my baby sits in is plush and comfortable. Not scratchy. It is easily cleaned, too. In the end, the customization on this swing is the biggest win! The two angles allow my baby to see us in our living room as we are moving around or lay flat when she needs to take a breather. The swing's arm move ability makes it easy for me to bring the swing close and plop her in. She loves settings 2 and 3 for swing motion, and the music entertains my older boys. I appreciate that the swing has the option to take batteries! Such a win for when we want to move the swing in and out of rooms. I only have a few issues with this swing. Not a deal breaker but it might help others decide if this is right for you. The swing's controls are "touch" controls and very sensitive. If one of my toddlers gets too close and brush past the panel, it changes the swing or turns it off. They are also under the swing on the ground, so I've had to bend down a lot to change settings or turn it on/off. It's aesthetically minimalistic to have it on the foot, but it is less convenient.
