[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used garnier sleek and shine I like how it leaves your hair shiny and soft it makes it easier to brush and manage the hair. I don't like to apply it when hair is dry because makes it look oily, I'd rather apply it when hair is wet because then you can distribute easier. What I didn't like is that it's to runny, I would rather prefer a more thick like consistency when it comes to hair polish. The other thing I didn't like is that the ingredients are very weird probably not even natural ones, but it does also help with frizzy hair , so overall I'm not to crazy about this product.

Honestly I was totally expecting a greasy non attractive film to coat my already oil prone hair and was pleasantly surprised. In fact the product exceeded all expections because the smell was great too. I don't give this product a five star for the sheer fact that I hate the packaging. Mine leaks a lot...however the product inside is AAAmazing!

I have natural hair, and let me tell you, it's a struggle to tame. When I style my hair, while damp, using this serum, the results are amazing. My styles last long and it looks very healthy and shiny. And it doesn't take a lot and it smells great. Let's not forget about the frizz. What frizz?, I shall say.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to use this. I have a small edge control pot and brush that I keep in my car but I can't really carry it around. This is the size of a mascara wand and you can throw it in your bag. I have type 4 hair and it's very thick and coarse. This couldn't really hold up. The texture of the product is very thin. It has a light gel consistency. I personally need more hold. In the photos, the slicker side is my regular edge control. The other side is the Garnier wand. I also included a video of me trying to maneuver it with poor luck. I like that this is compact and vegan/plant based. I would recommend to someone with straight or curly fine hair but for someone with my type of hair another option would be best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been seeing a lot of people using flyaway tamers when they put their hair up. I put mine up in a clip and then used the wand. I didn't really notice a difference, but maybe it was because I have a lot of flyaways or maybe it is the hairstyle. It smells really good though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I got this anti-frizz serum because my hair can get SO FRIZZY and nothing I do seems to calm those fly-aways! I tried applying it through my hair after my shower and brushing through it. Definitely made my hair feel silky and it smelled delicious! Only problem is, my hair is oily.. not dry.. so although it helped tame the frizz, my hair seemed to get oily pretty fast. Now maybe it was just the shine, and maybe I just used too much.. but be careful with how much you use and I would recommend applying only near the ends to avoid that! Other than that, I'm looking forward to see how my hair looks and feels after continuing to use it!

I've been using this line of products by Garnier for about twenty years. I occasionally try a new brand, but I always come back to sleek and shine. Their anti frizz serum is the only product that manages my hair even if I let it air dry. I have super thick, frizzy hair that becomes knotted and out of control within five minutes of brushing. I used to have to wash it every day just to have the opportunity to add conditioner to keep it somewhat manageable. This serum keeps my hair flat and manageable for up to three days between washes! Being able to skip a day or two between washes has done wonders for my day scalp! My daughter inherited my hair. She's autistic and has a very hard time with the sensation of brushing her hair. (When she was little we literally had to have one parent hold her arms down while the other brushed her hair as quickly as possible.) This serum allows me to brush and style her hair once in the morning and it stays nice and neat for the whole day. Before using this on her hair we had to brush her hair every three or four hours to keep the birds from building nests in her hair!!! I reccomend applying to damp hair straight out of the shower for best results. I start with a quarter sized amount spread through the lower half of the hair first. Then brush it through and add a TEENY TINY amount spread over the roots and top of the hair. Dry and style using your preferred method. The only thing stopping me from rating this a full five stars is how greasy it can get if you're not careful. A little bit of this stuff goes a long way. If you overdo it, your hair and scalp will look like you used Crisco as a conditioner. I highly recommend applying half a pump or less at a time until you reach your desired result. Sometimes, if you've only applied a little too much, you can spray some water on your hair and then blast it with a blow dryer on the hottest setting to remove the excess product. However, I've definitely found myself having to just wash my hair all over again to fix it or having to wear a hat all day if I don't have time to wash again. I do not reccomend this product for people with super fine hair or a naturally oily scalp.

It works very well to lay down the flyaways without making your hair feel hard. The hair smoothes out nicely with an added shine. It's best to smooth flyaways but not necessarily for a strong hold. Really enjoy the product. Would recommend!

Now an adult, I hadn't used Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum in many years, but I knew that my girlfriend and her mother swore by it, and so I was excited to reconnect with an old childhood favorite and see if it worked the wonders I remembered. The first thing I noticed is that the smell has changed - it smells more like fresh strawberries than the more apple-based scent I remember, and I quite like it. It also works quite well to smooth my hair down, but I prefer using it on wet hair to using it on dry hair. When I apply Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum directly after exiting the shower, before brushing my hair, it seems to keep my curls more organized as they dry - ensuring that I get curls rather than frizz. When I use the serum on dry hair, however, it weighs my hair down more than I'd like, but I may be using a bit too much. The only thing I really dislike about the product is how oily it leaves my hands - the oil doesn't dissolve into skin well, and leaves you with a sweet-smelling film on your hands for up to 10 minutes after application. Other than that, the product works well, smells sweet, and helps my hair look and smell its best. I think I'll go the way of my girlfriend and her mom and incorporate this product into my post-shower routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OH MY GOD!!! I absolutely LOVE this product. I had to stop using the shampoo and conditioner I usually use due to dandruff. It completely messed up my hair when I changed. I recently was able to go back to my original shampoo and conditioner but my hair still wasn't the way it was before. I was actually getting pretty depressed about it, and self conscious. The 1st time I put on the Garnier Anti Frizz serum it worked; my hair went from dry, dead split ends (and everywhere else) to BEAUTIFUL GODDESS HAIR! I will continue to use this product until I finish it; and buy more. I was definitely made a believer that Garnier firmly knows what they are doing, thank you!
