Easy to use and newborns love it!
My newborn loves this play yard. He is actually sleeping in it! He will not go down in his bassinet.
Amazing quality and easy to set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play yard has been working great for us. The first thing that I noticed about it was the modern design. I really like the "wood" accents and nice fabrics. I think it makes it feel more like a piece of furniture than just baby gear. It's actually pretty lightweight and is really easy for me to move it easily from room to room, which is a big help when I'm juggling my baby and toddler. The thing I was by far the most surprised/delighted about with this play yard is how incredibly easy it was to set up. It just popped open and i pushed the floor down and that was it. I can literally open or collapse it with one hand while holding my baby. They did a great job figuring out how to make that work, clearly considering the needs of moms. I assume they did some serious mom testing to get that right, because it works perfect and is so easy, too. I was glad to see that it came with the bassinet option. It was so easy to follow the simple visual instructions and to set it up I just unzipped the mattress into two halves. When you unzip it, one half of it then fits perfectly in the newborn bassinet. Then I just have to zip the two parts back together to make a full-size mattress for the regular play yard. I’ve noticed the padding is thicker and softer than I had expected, so my baby is actually really comfy during naps. We use it in the living room while I'm cooking and we also use it a lot to bring with us for weekends at the grandparents (it comes with a nice travel bag). Getting lots of use out of this play yard! Pleasantly Surprised
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this play yard from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The set up of the play yard/bassinet was incredibly easy! I started my timer to see how long it would take me to set up the play yard the first time I used it at home. It took a little less than ten minutes to set up the play yard without the bassinet, including the time I took to read over the directions!!! I love how easy it is to set up and also pack back up! The frame is very lightweight making it easy for one person to set up. The design is stylish, it looks nice. We’ve used the play yard at home and during Christmas when visiting family. I was pleasantly surprised by the easy set up, and that’s something that is really important to me when traveling. I highly recommend this play yard and bassinet!
Amazing PlayYard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely fell in love with the Maxi-Cosi Swift Play Yard from the moment I set it up. My overall impression is that it’s incredibly well designed, practical, and thoughtfully made for real life with a little one. I previously had another play yard, but this one has completely replaced it in our home. The stylish 3-in-1 design is a huge standout for me. I love how seamlessly it transitions between bassinet, play yard, and toddler space. The lightweight frame makes it so easy to move around the house, yet it still feels sturdy and secure. It looks modern and sleek, which is a big plus compared to bulkier play yards. So far, we’ve used the Swift Play Yard in our living room, bedroom, and even while traveling. The carrying bag makes it incredibly convenient to pack up and take with us, and setup is quick and stress-free. I also love the soft mattress that comes with it—it’s cushioned, comfortable, and clearly well made. My little one seems to love it just as much as I do and is always content playing or resting inside. The feature that stood out to me the most is how easy it is to fold and transport without sacrificing comfort. It truly feels like a premium, parent-friendly product that keeps your child comfortable and safe. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The Maxi-Cosi Swift Play Yard has become an essential part of our daily routine, and I highly recommend it to other parents looking for a stylish, functional, and comfortable play yard.
A Beautifully Designed Lightweight Play Yard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this play yard from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out in my home, and after using it regularly, it genuinely feels like a step above most play yards I’ve used. The design was the first thing that stood out to me. The neutral fabric and wood-tone accents blend seamlessly into our living space, which I really appreciate since this is something that stays out most of the time. It doesn’t feel bulky or out of place, and it looks more like a piece of furniture than typical baby gear. I just love how functional yet refined this feels. It’s spacious enough for play, movement, and toys without taking over the room. Setup was simple and intuitive, and once assembled, the play yard feels sturdy and well made. Despite that solid construction, it’s surprisingly lightweight, which makes moving it around the house easy without it feeling flimsy or unstable. The mesh sides allow for good airflow for and visibility of my little one, and the padded top rail adds an extra layer of comfort and safety once he starts standing up. The mattress fits well and lays mostly flat, creating a stable space for play. I also liked that it includes a bassinet option for smaller babies, which adds flexibility early on. It would be the perfect spot for naps by the window in the main living space while you get some laundry folded in those early months. That said, beyond that, it doesn’t come with additional accessories or attachments, which feels like a small missed opportunity at this price point. In the photos, I’ve placed a stretchy mini crib sheet over the mattress. While it fits fairly well, I would love to see the brand offer washable mattress covers in different colors to match the play yard’s aesthetic. It would be both practical and a nice way to personalize the look. When it comes to everyday use, the lightweight design is a big plus, but I do wish it had wheels to make repositioning it even easier from room to room. This would pair especially well with how light it already is and would make quick adjustments during the day that much easier. When folded for storage or travel, the play yard stays compact and easy to lift; however, the handles on the storage bag are just a bit too short, which makes it slightly awkward to carry. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something I noticed during real-world use. Overall, this feels like a premium play yard designed with real homes and real routines in mind. It’s sturdy without being heavy, easy to move, and visually appealing enough to leave out when people come over. It’s definitely a standout option for families who want something functional that also looks great in their space.
Easy to put up and love the colors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this pack and play. The wood look details are very cool and feel more elevated than the standard. It was really easy to put up and down - only have to push the center piece down and it pops right into place. This makes it easy to move from room to room, though this will mainly be our downstairs docking spot for baby. I also love that the mattress pad velcros underneath for more stability. The bassinet feature is definitely a feature I will use a ton and will save my back from leaning over with a newborn all the time! The main mattress zips in half to become the bassinet mattress. Another feature I love is that it all folds up compact in a carrying case. I've had others where you have to wrestle it all in and it never seems to fit quite right, but this one was really easy to get in and out and fit perfectly! The only other feature it would be nice to have would be a side zipper, but I expect by the time we would utilize that we would be on to other baby items. This would be a great baby shower gift - a pack and play is an essential and the bassinet gives it double purpose! I was given this play yard to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Very lightweight and convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Maxi Cosi Swift Play Yard from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was excited to test it out because of the bassinet insert. Although my favorite feature is how lightweight it is! I was surprised by how noticeably light it was- whether carrying it around in the bag or moving it once it’s set up. It would be great for travel because of how lightweight it is. As of now I’ve mostly been using it in our living room as an extra sleep/changing area for our newborn. I’m excited to take it on a trip with us though. I know the bassinet will come in handy. I’d recommend this as a great play yard!
Stylish and easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel, I received the Maxi Cosi Swift Play Yard! Unboxing is easy and it is already ready to use. I needed it right away for my 4 month old’s nap and it took no longer than 10 minutes to set up with the bassinet attachment from the box. It is super easy to fold and unfold and not too heavy to carry. I love the stylish design and mesh sides. The bassinet attachment is a little odd because my baby ends up sliding towards the edge, so I prefer the pack and play with toddler mattress instead. Other than that, it’s a great product and is super easy to use!
Stylish and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon first opening the box the thing that stood out the most to me was the thick padding on the mattress insert. Where most play yards have very thin cushioning this was thick, yet firm so there's no worry of suffocation. It also unzips splitting it into two, so the mattress can comfortably fit in the bassinet section. When I was putting together the bassinet section I had a tough time getting the clips on, but that could be because it was new, being as the second time was a tad easier. I absolutely loved this style, the color, along with the look of wooden legs fits the aesthetic of my living room completely. The frame is lightweight with a slight padding feel to the top edge to keep teething children safe from injury. The material overall is very soft and easy to wipe away any spit up or drool. As for the larger pen part, although I felt it's safer to have the mattress insert to velcro underneath the pen it was fairly difficult to get the strips through the little holes in a timely manner to a demanding baby. As for the bassinet option, it is a tad higher than most play yards keeping my baby close by while he sleeps comfortably inside. Now, while I am washing dishes when he naps it is easier to peek over the edge to check on him at further distances. My baby loves the sound the padding makes when he kicks his little feet off of it for entertainment, he also loves the texture of the mesh sides of the bassinet when he is trying the grab the fabric lines. With it being winter I have only had the pleasure of using this in my living room. Therefore, I personally wish it had some type of wheels to move it in short distances, with one hand, to make cleaning easier while holding my baby or moving it to a more functional location during use. I also wish there was an additional option to use the play yard after the bassinet stage, but before the pen stage as trying to set my infant son in the pen section while napping is a tad difficult because of it being lower than the bassinet. (This however is like this with all play yards so again just me.) I also personally struggled a tad trying to collapse the play yard, as it sort of twists to open and close. (When you're used to something a certain way for years it's easy to forget.) The shape and size in my opinion is excellent. It fit perfectly in smaller spaces making it easy to shift to different areas of my living room. Overall I am impressed with the look and feel of this play yard and would recommend it to others. I was given this play yard to try as part of the Stellar Testing Panel. Thank you.
Maxi Cosi Swift Play Yard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. If I could, I'd give this product 4.5 stars as it is so close to perfect, but it's not. The play yard itself is sleek and I enjoy the design of the product. It is incredibly easy to set up and break down. The way that the bottom mattress is convertible to fit both the bottom and top and then wraps around the set when putting it away works really well and is nice. The play yard is lightweight making moving it easy. My one complaint is the bassinet attachment. The attachment is secure with multiple points of attachment, but it is smaller that the play yard width wise, so it swings when your baby is in it and moves. If you have a light sleeper, this could definitely bother them. But, it is easy to setup and take it apart. The mesh is lightweight and easy to see through, so you can see your child while in it easily. Overall, this product is really nice and seems secure and easy to setup and a great asset for multiple ages.
