[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One car seat has been very positive, especially because the all-in-one design makes it feel like a long-term investment that grows with my child from rear-facing to booster mode. Installation was fairly easy, the instructions were clear, and adjusting the harness and headrest to get a safe, secure fit was simple and intuitive. The fabrics feel very soft and high-quality, and my little one appeared comfortable while riding in the seat, even on longer drives. One thing I did notice is that in the rear-facing position on recline number three, it looks to me like my baby is still sitting more upright than expected, which is something parents may want to be mindful of depending on their child’s age and preference. My favorite feature is the no-rethread harness and how easily the seat adjusts as my child grows, making changes quick and stress-free while maintaining a proper fit. I have a newly 3 year old who is rear facing and a 9 year old who is in a booster seat. Both kiddos agreed the seat was comfortable and it fit them well. The padding on the seat is super squishy and thicker than any of the other seats we have had for the boys and they loved it. The instruction manual was easily the best laid out, so easy to follow, and one I never threw across the room in frustration. Add to that the seat itself was so easy to adjust and convert. I have nerve damage in my hands and I have the worst time with hand strength. The tilt lever on our others took an act of god to engage and then a linebacker to actually move into the position you needed. This one I was able to do one handed! I was delighted! Raising the head, moving the buckle, undoing the cloth was so easy. I was shocked. No anger here! Usually I have to take breaks so I don’t have a menty B. No so with this one. The conversion to booster was quick and mostly painless. Now let’s get to the negatives. I can’t use it as a booster in my suv since I can’t remove the headrest. There isn’t a place to store the buckles when it is converted to the booster or the instructions in the actual seat itself. The seat is so big and fluffy it makes it hard for my 9 year old to put the seat belt in. He almost tipped over and I had to click it for him. Putting the seatbelt through the rear facing slot was extremely difficult for one person to put through so it could be a more difficult to move from one car to another so I would not enjoy it if we only had one between both cars. But once in it was very secure. I really like this seat overall and would recommend to anyone looking for a new seat. Whomever wrote the instructions and whomever designed the conversion process need raises and need to be hire to do it for everything!

Installation was straightforward and stress-free—no complicated new technology, just a simple, familiar setup that works. One of the biggest highlights is the size. This seat is clearly designed to grow with your child for years, yet the base has a relatively small footprint. It fits beautifully in my midsize SUV without spilling over into my older kids’ seating space, which is a huge plus. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of five, with #6 on the way, I am no stranger to car seats. I wanted to love this one, but it fell short in a few areas. Pros: -Love that it’s made in the USA! I try to choose USA made products when possible, so this was a huge win for me. -Once positioned properly, my ten month old was very comfortable and happy in her seat. -Appears very sturdy and safe, and my husband was able to get it very snuggly fastened. That said, here is where it fell short for our family: Cons: -We drive a Nissan NV passenger van, and had to try the seat in a few different seats before deciding it needed to be in the second row behind the center counsel. It is SUCH a huge car seat, that it really couldn’t be behind another seat without pushing into it, which didn’t allow for a reclined enough position for our baby. That may not be an issue for some people, but as we have multiple other kids in car seats, we noticed the extra space this car seat takes. -Other similar car seats we’ve used all have had the bubble level on the side so you can see if the seat is level by where the bubble is. This car seat has a decal sticker with lines marks to indicate levelness, which isn’t as convenient. -When rear facing the straps are positioned such that you really have to finagle to get them tight enough. The fabric is moveable to access straps so my husband had to move back some fabric to get the tight enough. When he had it tight enough he really had to fight to get the fabric back in place. Not undoable, but again more cumbersome than other car seats we’ve used. -Finally, the chest clip doesn’t seem as sturdy as other seats. It shouldn’t be an issue because when kids are in the car it would be clipped, but if my four year old got it in her mind to bend it, it’s a softer plastic that could be twisted around. Again that shouldn’t happen, but you never know with kids! In short, we’ll keep using this car seat because our baby is happy and safe in it, but we wouldn’t invest in a second. The fabric appears to be very comfortable and plush, and our 9 month old seemed to enjoy it more than the baby carrier that he's transitioning out of. It was fairly easy to install in my RAM mega cab's backseat in rear facing configuration, although it may not be suitable for small vehicles. There are many adjustments that can be made for comfort and height, so it will grow with your little one. The removable and washable cupholders are a nice touch as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this car seat and so does my 2 year old. The car seat looks safe, sturdy and comfortable for my daughter. I installed it forward facing in my car and installation was very easy. I love that it’s easy to adjust the straps and back height without taking the whole car seat out of the car. I also like that if we were to install rear facing, it’s very easy to recline and adjust the angle of the seat. My daughter says she loves it and looks very comfortable in it. The only negative I would say is the color. I’m worried the lighter color padding will get dirty easily. It also is quite wide, not an issue for me, but may be an issue for someone trying to fit three kids in the back seat.

It is chic and stylish and my daughter fell asleep less than 5 minutes into the car ride. The material feels luxurious and the style is timeless. Which I appreciate because we will definitely be using for a second child. The fact that the car seat is convertible is a major selling point for our family. We appreciated not having to transition out an infant car seat for this one and are excited to watch our baby grow with the seat. The fabrics are luxurious and very breathable. We have not had any spills or accidents but the fabrics seem very easy to wipe off. This car seat was installed in my husbands truck which has limited room in the backseat. To our surprise the car seat installed in less than 10 minutes and was secure and easy to navigate. The thing I love most about this car seat is that my child is secure and safe while also riding in comfort. This car seat will be her specified seating for the next few years, my child is very small, and her being comfortable is not something that I am willing to jeopardize. She is always content when in this seat and she is secure and safe which means the world to me.

Its feel is plush & pliable yet supremely supportive, and the easy on/off cover is machine-washable for a convenient clean. We love the sleek grey SeaDrift color, though there are several great options to match any taste or vehicle interior. Maxi Cosi has built this chair to be lightweight but sturdy. Both rear-facing & forward-facing installations are a breeze using either your car’s own passenger safety belt or the built-in anchor straps. The Pria’s thoughtfully designed height and angle adjustments ensure a custom fit to suit fast-growing little riders over time, and all buckles on the child harness are easy for an adult to operate with one hand. 
 Our favorite feature is the Pria’s pair of removable cupholders that go in or out with just a twist - they’re dishwasher-safe for a quick clean! The one minor complaint we have is that the cover can sometimes slide off the outer edges of the chair’s underlying frame a bit too easily when buckling-in an energetic child; but it’s easy to tuck back into place. Overall we’re very happy with this carseat, and it’s clear it will keep our little one safe and secure for years of travel!
