Easy to use by first-timers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this for our fifth grandchild born on 9-11. It is light weight and portable. It has been easy to use by his first-time parents. They like the flexibility of its functions and look forward to being able to use it as he grows.
Versatile & Convenient, Must Have Stroller
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. At first, I was intimidated by everything this stroller claimed to do. A bassinet, a toddler stroller & the ability to snap in a car seat to just the frame. I thought it would be difficult to maneuver and be bulky, but I was wrong! The stroller was easy to put together & with no tools necessary, mostly clicking & locking into place. The directions made it easy to figure out how to change it from one mode to the next. I have a one year old daughter & thought the toddler seat was great. It was easy to adjust for her & she was comfortable in it. I love how big the basket is in the bottom of the stroller, perfect to fit the diaper bag or whatever else I need to bring along. I tried out my daughter’s car seat, snapping it quickly & easily onto the frame. The bassinet feature was really nice & I look forward to trying it with a future baby! It seemed sturdy & comfortable for a baby. Finally, the stroller was very easy to fold up & store with the push of two buttons & a swift pull. The Graco Modes Nest Stroller is the best, most functional & stylish stroller I have seen & experienced & I would recommend it to every parent!
BEAUTIFUL !!
Easy to put together. I did it on my own 7 months pregnant. Lol to say I did it fast would be a lie BUT it was easy. The stroller is just BEAUTIFUL. Stroller seat to bassinet mode is as easy as one hand pull or push forward . To open it WITH seat attached is NOT easy as I thought. You need to two hand pull and push both side handles but for one set back as this I would still choose this stroller. The bottom is huge and has ALOT of space. The handle bar is nice and smooth.
Amazing stroller
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved graco strollers and this stroller has all the features of some expensive brands out there but it comes at a fraction of the cost. I absolutely love the fact that you can adjust and bring the baby closer to you and of course the fact that it can still transform into a bassinet is great for newborn stages. This stroller has the capacity to change from front to back so you can change the seat facing you or facing the other way. The brakes are amazing and the fact that it comes so sturdy I love that that it won’t break so easily. Adjusting it and folding it so easy as well. Well done graco!
Easy to assemble
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago for my new born baby I'm so glad I did. The ones from other brands they have in stores seem si week as if they are meant to be used only one day. Grace's quality is way much more better than those.
Sophisticated stroller with great features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco Nest Modes stroller has tons of perks and is a great stroller for the price! The stroller has nice, clean lines and looks sophisticated. The very first thing I noticed is that compared to similar strollers, it has a very large seat, which is great for bigger babies/toddlers. The spf50 sunshade covers the entire seat, unlike on many other strollers. The storage basket beneath is also very large and easy to access, making this a great stroller for running errands! The adjustable height is an awesome feature that I haven't seen on other strollers before. I love this because depending on what we're doing, it's helpful to have the seat at different heights. I took my daughter for a walk in this stroller, and it was so nice to lower the seat to table height when we stopped for a snack. I really love being able to turn the seat to face either direction as well! While we're past the bassinet stage, I tested out switching the seat into bassinet mode just to see how it worked. It was much easier than I expected. The stroller was fairly easy to maneuver. I live in an old town with very bumpy sidewalks, and it struggled a bit to get over some of the bumps and curbs. On flatter terrain, however, it was very pleasant to push. I love that the adult cup holder and the child tray come with the stroller and aren't extra accessories to purchase. For a large stroller, this has a fairly compact fold and was easy to both open and fold up. While this stroller has some amazing features, I did find a few cons. The snack tray is great but hard to flip up and difficult for my daughter to reach while buckled into the seat. While the handle of the stroller looks nice, it's slick and hard to get a good grip on. We live in a very hilly town and it worried me to not be able to get a secure grip on the handlebar. Overall, this stroller has some great features, like the ability to adjust the seat height. With it's large basket, it's a great stroller for running errands but struggles on uneven terrain. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller.
Great for first time parents or urban dwellers
So I was given the Graco Modes Nest stroller from Stellar Product Reviews to try out. It came with a stroller seat that can be converted into a bassinet. Everything came in one gigantic box and assemble was pretty easy even with a preschooler and a first grader trying their best to distract me. Upon completion, I let our 11 month old test it out. Here are our thoughts: -Nice option for completely flat naps when on the go, however in order to convert from sitting to laying, someone needs to hold the baby. -Stroller glides across various surfaces smoothly and is easy to maneuver. -I loved that we could place the seat facing us or street facing. -I am a petite person so it was nice to be able to adjust the seat at various heights. -The basket underneath is gigantic and perfect when running errands. -Although it is always nice to have a cupholder, having it on the side of the stroller (as pictured) isn't convenient as it easily falls off if bumped...maybe place it at the handle as with previous models. -We love the faux leather handle when pushing the stroller, however I am a petite person so it was at an awkward height for me to push whereas it was perfect for my 5'10 tall husband...I felt like my 6 year old pushing a stroller. -If you are familiar with Graco strollers, then you can probably find the latch to unfold the stroller without any hesitation. Sadly we struggled with finding the latch and unlatching it all the time, guess we will have to continue to use it until we get the hang of it. -If you have a smallish trunk, removing the seat/bassinet allows you to place the frame in easily and then tuck the seat/bassinet next to it. -If you do not remove the seat/bassinet and you fold it, the inside part of the seat where baby sits/sleeps is completely exposed so probably not a good stroller for checking in at an airport gate without a bag. -We have a three kiddo household so being able to fold up a stroller quickly and corral the older kids into the van is crucial; with the difficulty of finding the latch and using both hands it is a bit cumbersome. Overall although I wanted to love love this stroller, it just isn't the right fit for our family. However, I do think it would be perfect for first time parents, parents/caregivers taking baby out into the neighborhood strolls to nap in bassinet mode, or running errands in the city without having to fold/unfold it multiple times.
Great versatile stroller!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. I am mom of two children (4 and 2) and I have used many strollers over the past few years. The Modes Nest Stroller is definitely a great stroller to use. The adjustable seat is a great feature that is not found on many strollers (if any!) and I love the ability to have my baby up closer to me and facing in either direction. Here are what I found as pros and cons: PROS: 1. Super Lightweight and easy to manuveur 2. Completely versatile with the adjustable seat (both in height and direction!) 3. LOVE that there is a bassinet option without having to purchase an additional piece 4. LOVE that you can use a car seat on this stroller 5. Folds up easy CONS: 1. Even though it folds up easy, I have other strollers that fold a little tighter that this one. I drive a Toyota Corolla and right now I can fit a wagon and my other single stroller just fine. The Nest does not fit in my trunk with the wagon, the wheels don't close flat enough. With that said, with no wagon in there it has plenty of room! 2. The stroller says it fits a toddler up to 50 lbs. My daughter is two (35 inches tall and about 29 lbs) and she does not fit in this stroller, she is already too big. I would say an infant to a very young toddler is realistic. 3. The seat was a little more flimsy for a heavier child. I think it would be fine for a smaller child/infant. However, when you push down a bit on the seat, it just feels like the seat is not that sturdy. 4. It was not as easy to put together as other strollers I have. In my experience, I have only had to pop wheels in. The Nest has pins and other parts to add the wheels to the base. Not a deal breaker but not a plus. 5. The parent cup holder is small and down on the side, I had to buy an add-on cup holder attachment to properly hold my items on the handle. Overall, I would definitely suggest this as a stroller!
Functional, and easy-to-use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stroller for my first child. It is easy for me to pack it in the car and open/close it myself. It’s a little bulky, but that’s to be expected. I love that I can turn the seat around to face away from the sun, but this is sometimes a little difficult to do when I’m using it alone. The basket on the bottom holds everything perfectly! Overall, I am really happy with this stroller! Because of the pandemic, we didn’t use the bassinet feature much.
Best purchase ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We initially had a different stroller, and had to switch to the Modes Nest and I have to say, best purchase ever. Super light, tons of space, grows with your baby. Should have been my 1st option. Recommend if you are a first time mamma
