Love the Versatility!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My youngest son (1½ years old) has reached that point in his toddlerhood that he strongly dislikes long stroller rides. Then there's my oldest son who is very tall for his age (3½ years old), to the point that his feet drag on the wheels when he rides in a stroller. 2 significant struggles when you're trying to keep kids happy when out and about. When I received the Modes Nest from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try and review, I was immediately impressed with 2 of it's features: adjustable facing (perfect for my youngest) and adjustable height (for my oldest). Today we ran some errands with my youngest and tried both forward and rear facing! We put him in the highest position and it was easy to interact with him and he was able to hold hands with my husband as we strolled down the aisles of one of our favorite stores! But when he was forward facing, he kept asking for mama or dada when we would go out of sight. At our second store, we switched it to rear facing and you could tell he enjoyed that more because he could see us! He was high enough up that we could interact without having to bend over too much! I really loved the height of the push bar, it was the perfect height for me! It also had a nice cushion on it to keep your hands comfortable. I'm amazed at how easy it was to fold up, open, adjust the seat heat and switch seating direction! It was very easy to maneuver, most of which I could easily do with one hand, super important when you have 2 small humans to watch over! Also, there was a large cargo space on the bottom, a deficiency that most strollers I've used in the past have had. The fact that a large tote or diaper bag can fit nicely without being crammed in, I think is a big plus for me! There were only a few things that I wish were a little different. There's only one cup holder for adults and it's not movable, the position where it's at is fine when the seat is forward facing, but I could see him grabbing at it when he's rear facing. The cup holder on the child's tray is not large enough for their water cups, so during the summer I could see that being an issue with keeping their bottles in the stroller. It would be nice if the trays and arms that connect it were all one piece, instead of 3 separate pieces that need to be removed to make it more compact. I can't wait to really put this to use this spring when we're able to go on more walks outside!

Pretty Good Stroller with Cool Features, but ...

I received the Graco Modes (TM) Next Stroller to review through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This stroller has some pretty cool features, but there are some things that I think could be better. I'll start with the features that I thought were great! I love that you can slide the seat up and down on the frame. You have the flexibility to keep baby riding lower to ground or to move baby up closer to you. I think this is an excellent feature, especially if you have a younger baby riding in the stroller and you want to bring them up closer to Mom or Dad. I found this to be SUPER helpful at restaurants when high-chairs aren't available. We just raised the seat up the frame and pushed baby up to the table! I also love that you can switch the seat to front or back facing. Older babies may want to look around and people watch in the forward facing mode, but sometimes babies get over-stimulated, tired, fussy, or just bored and switching them to the back facing mode allows them to focus on you and less on the environment. I also love that the stroller converts from a bassinet to a big kid seat! My little one is older so we didn't use this feature, but you can also clip any Graco infant car seat on to the frame as well. Moving the seat up and down the frame, from forward to backward facing, and off and on the frame itself is super easy! The seat is lightweight so it would be easy for a busy parent to switch if they are on their own with their kiddos. I also fell in love with the HUGE storage basket under the seat. There is so much room to stash diaper bags, purses, blankets, whatever you may need to bring along. With all of that being said there are some things I'd love to see improved upon. I wish the push handle was adjustable. It was a little low for me and low enough to be uncomfortable for my husband. I also wish there was an all-terrain tire option. I also found folding up the stroller to be a little difficult. You need both hands to fold the stroller down and it didn't fold as compactly as I wish it would have. The last thing I'll mention is with how light weight the frame was it sometimes made the stroller seem a little bit unstable, especially when going up and down curbs and steps. I'd prefer a little heavier stroller that feels more sturdy when pushing around my little one. Overall, I do think this is a great stroller, especially for families with younger babies and lots of items to tote!!

Great Stroller for the First Time Parent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to review the Modes(TM) Nest Stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. To say the least I was so excited - I have four children all under the age of six and although at this point I largely have everything I could need in terms of gear, the flip side to this is that the gear is getting older, has been around the block more than a few times, and it is rare to try something new because I am just trying to get through the last kiddo. However, I have used a ton of different gear in my tenure as a parent, and I can definitely tell you what works and what isn't worth the money. The stroller came in a box and needed to be assembled which was relatively easy to do. My first impression is that the stroller has a sleek design, looked like a high-end stroller due to the black frame and heather gray fabric, and ironically reminded me of the stroller I currently was using. It has a large basket underneath that is easily accessibly from both sides (this is very important) and came with a cup holder and toddler tray which is huge! It may sound silly to be excited about these little additions, but I paid a great deal of money for my existing stroller and I had to buy the cup holder and toddler tray separately. Also, when the stroller was collapsed, the overall frame and seat was relatively light. This seems like a small detail when all you have to do is collapse the stroller and take it in and out of car, but a heavy stroller can take its toll after awhile. This stroller also has the ability to be used three ways: as a traditional stroller for infants and toddlers; the seat can invert to become a bassinet (genius as many high end strollers offer a bassinet option but again, needs to be purchased separately); and as an infant car sear carrier. Also, the seat can move up or down on the frame which is a great option especially if you are a shorter parent (moving it down allows for a better viewpoint) or if you want to create more space in the basket underneath. In terms of functionality, this stroller is a good stroller. If you are a first time parent, and need a reliable stroller, Modes(TM) Nest gives you the sleek design of a high end model without the high price tag. However, as an experienced parent, I noticed a couple of things that were not ideal. As I mentioned earlier, the seat has the ability to collapse into a bassinet. There are a few things you need to do to make the seat a bassinet so the seat itself is not necessarily unreliable (it will not collapse into the bassinet function without physical manipulation) but due to its convertibility, the seat seems very pliable and flexible. My toddler was trying to sit forward in the seat and I noticed that the entire back of the seat was pulling way forward (almost inverting in the opposite direction). It seemed very "squishy" Also the seating position is very ram rod straight. You are able to recline the seat but your options seem to be a fairly complete recline or a ram rod straight position (whereas my current stroller allows for variations of recline). The other non-ideal item I would mention is that there are two foot brakes (one on each side of the rear wheels), but you need to engage both separately to engage the brakes. They should design the brakes to engage simultaneously regardless of which brake pad is suppressed. Lastly, this stroller did not have great one-hand maneuverability. This is so important when it comes to a good stroller. So many times as a parent you are trying to accomplish two things at once and I know that I always like to have great control with one hand if I need to utilize this option. Overall, this is a good stroller especially for a first time parent. Some of the things I mentioned above would not be obvious or seem like a necessity unless you have some experience. The price point is good and overall this stroller is good option! Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to review this stroller!

Lots of features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this stroller to use with our newborn foster baby, but have also used it with our 2yo and 3yo. It is super easy to convert between travel system, bassinet, and toddler seat. I also love that it parent faces! Took away one star because it is pretty large and bulky.

Such a neat stroller!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An amazing friend of ours bought us this stroller when we started fostering. This stroller is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the option to allow the child to be front or rear facing is wonderful! We've had toddlers that struggled with abandonment issues, so being able to face the parent while being strolled makes things so much easier on both of us! We are loyal Graco buyers and won't be changing anytime soon.

Very Spacious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this as a baby shower gift and I'm very pleased with it! The lower basket has so much room. It's a perfect stroller to take with you when you are out at the mall shopping! The seat itself is adjustable and can be adjusted to your comfortable height. My son is super comfortable while strolling as well. We are both pleased with this gift!

Amazing stroller for baby to toddler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m super impressed with this stroller. I can’t choose a favorite feature but I love having the ability to adjust the height when my toddler is riding. I love having him on the highest setting when facing me because we can interact and it’s super quick and easy to flip the seat around if he wants to see everything in front of him. The stroller rides and turns so smoothly and folds up extremely easily, almost on its own and then even stands up without falling over. It’s very lightweight and was easy to move around my garage and in and out of the car. The basket underneath has much more room than any other stroller I’ve used and the sunshade is large and sturdy but is easily adjustable. My ONLY complaint is that my 3 year old was very excited to try it out but her head was too tall to fit and she is very small for her age so I’m sad that I’d only be able to use the stroller a couple years since I love it so much. I don’t currently have an infant so I didn’t get to try the bassinet but I love that the seat changes into one so it’s not an extra part to store. I received this stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel but if I have another baby I’m going to purchase a Graco infant car seat so that I can use this stroller the whole time with him/her.

LOVE THIS STROLLER!

I just had my first child and have been eyeballing this travel system for MONTHS. I got one as a baby shower gift and I am in love. It is so easy to use, fits in my hyundai elantra, and all the seats attach easily. My son loves this stroller and carseat. The storage compartment is huge. I can fit 2 full diaper bag backpacks, my purse, and shopping bags. I highly recommend this travel system!

Smooth ride

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when my son was an infant and loved it, I ended up switching to the fast action jogging stroller because I’m a daily runner and did not need two strollers but the quality of the Nest stroller is amazing. Highly recommend

Loved it at first but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've received this stroller thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel since I was really interested in it having my 4th child just recently! Once the product arrived, unboxing was a breeze, installation was super easy even those whom hate assembly can swiftly put it altogether. My first impression of this stroller was TALL. I'm a short person (5'2-157 cm) and this stroller is nearly my height. The seat is really spacious for a toddler that my four years old gets a little lost in it (she's petite herself though with an average height and weighs 17 kg) her younger sister (2 years old, weighs 13 kg) hopped on - rather squished her- and it was surprisingly moderate while maneuvering it around. However the seating is so big that the snack bar was above her head level so I'm unsure if I assembled it right or my kids are too small. Everything aside, you can turn the stroller with a little force by one hand easily. The brakes are somewhat sturdy. The stroller itself isn't really as lightweight as Ive hoped but folding/unfolding is fast to figure them out. The wheels are good but the front ones need a strong push for them to step over hurdles as they tend to get stuck easily. The canopy is really nice and it goes a long way, protecting our little ones from the heat adequately. The cup holder is neat I use it for my phone haha. The storage underneath is really refreshing since it's wide enough for my two years old to lay down there with her legs stretched out which is a big WIN for me since I tend to overpack!! Closing the stroller and carrying it around can be a little awkward with the seat being in the way. I'd recommend this stroller occasionally but would not call it lightweight. But convenient to feel like you're really close to your kid. Feels more like a moving chair than a stroller honestly.
