That is why we encourage our customers to enjoy it with their favorite seasoning. I love adding paprika, cumin, and ginger powder to it. The reason our products are priced as they are currently is that Nick & Justin, our founders, insist on only sourcing the best ingredients available for our products while using the best techniques to maintain health benefits. How you may ask, do many of those other “bone broth” brands bring down the cost? Answer: By not using bones! Don’t believe us, check the label. There is also a brand on the market that doesn't even have acid to break down the bones, while we use apple cider vinegar. Also at Kettle & Fire, we use a special pasteurization process called retorting, it is the only way that doesn't destroy the health benefits. Bone broths that are shelf stable and are in glass jars or have plastic pours cannot use the retorting process. We do understand, that even still, the price can be a lot to stomach. We truly appreciate you reaching out to share your feedback and experience with us.
