I have a love hate relationship with this thing. First off I had one and it said that the tank wasn’t attached which I guess was due to the sensors. So they sent me a new one which I was so excited for. I go to clean up a small spill. 2 seconds in it says it is full. I can’t even see the liquid in the bottom of it. So irritating and I’m so over it.

I love that it’s cordless and it allows me to clean any mess, any where. So far I have gotten rid of the toughest stains including pizza sauce

I should have listened to the reviews. This wouldnt work out of the box. Read the instructions. Charged it till the light turned solid green. attempted to turn it on and the light kept blinking white/red (water tank missing). I made sure multiple times that the tank was fully secured. Waited for 15 seconds to turn on and kept blinking white/red. I love Shark products but very dissapointed with this one!

We have used a traditional plug-in, shampooing machine for many years, but wasn’t happy with the cleanup and hassle. So we decided to give this cordless handheld shark stain force a try and so far we really love it. It’s portable. It’s quick. It’s easy to use and the cleanup is such a lifesaver. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone, especially if they can find a good deal.

I purchased this and it’s been awesome but since I unboxed it it will work for 30 sec then it starts blinking and no matter how much I clean and dry it out it won’t stay on.

I purchased this right when it came out, so I'm assuming I have Gen 1. We purchased another for my grandmother several months later and a few features are different, like the charging port and color. Im assuming that one is gen 2. This review is about my purchase of gen 1. Hers seems to be working fine but we haven't used it more than three or so times. I also cleaned the contacts on hers immediately after opening. I had A LOT of problems with mine in the beginning. It would turn on then turn right back off, even fully charged. I called support, she walked me through the best she could for a product she didn't know much about (I purchased immediately after release). I could get it to work some times, but not others. I kept assuming the tank wasn't seated properly. Turns out, I cleaned the contacts inside (2 metal rectangles) with a q tip and some rubbing alcohol and it started to work immediately. I went to turn it on today and it's flashing yellow at me and will turn on then turn right back off. I'm going to break it down, clean the tanks and contacts again, and put it back together and see what happens. But honestly, as much of a great Idea that this product is (I would use it religiously if it worked reliably) I just get so frustrated even trying it anymore. Mostly because I'll spray the solution and then have no way to extract it. That's annoying. Also, the spray bottle of cleaner it comes with isn't really enough to make the stain went enough to extract much at all. I ended up making my own spray bottle of cleaner and a lot of water so I can thoroughly wet the spot enough to get the stains out. It works much better and is much cheaper.

Charge time 5 hrs for 15 min of use. Sensors are so messed up, I could wash and dry perfectly to the video instructions and I still get a sensor error stating I have a dirty or missing tank. Then when I try to find other troubleshooting online, the internet is filled with the same crappy ads. I tried refunding it 37 days after buying and they declined my request. Do not buy this product.

I just recd this today - used as directed on 4 pet stains. It performed exactly as described!! It is a well designed product that seems well constructred. They obviously knew the design elements that would make it easy to setup, clean and then clean itself ! (Genius). As I am physically challenged ( 89 ) little features mean a lot to me. Very efficient , easy to use and does the job. A Greaf buy @ $ 100.00 as a very similar unit on a major , popular delivery service is more than 2x this current price. A real game changer for what it is designed for! “ Go for it” ! !

This cleaner is pretty great given its compact size. I don't think it is as powerful as my old upright wet vac, but that is to be expected. After moving into a much smaller home, I needed a spot cleaner that did not take up as much space as my upright, and this is perfect. The spray cleaner works really well. An added bonus is the ease at which it comes apart to clean. It took about a month to get here (and two separate shipments) but I'm happy it finally made it!

Bought this to help remove stains on my new beige sofa. Tried it out on a small area, followed the instructions to the letter and I've been left with a far worse dark ring. Will not be using again.
