Wings

I love making so many different recipes without having to open 100 wings.

Perfect size per package.

These wings are just the right amount in each package for an enjoyable meal after a long days work. No need to cut and separate the drums from the flappers. They have done that for you. They are are for cooking

Tasty wings, but need better cleaning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These chicken wings are incredibly delicious! The meat is tender, juicy, and they cook up perfectly with a great flavor. They are a hit for a quick family dinner or a game day snack. However, I have to mention that I found some small hairs/feathers still on the skin. It’s a bit of a hassle to have to clean them off before cooking. If the cleaning process were more thorough, they would be a perfect 5-star product! Overall, still very tasty, but be prepared to do a little extra prep.

Not Terrible, but Not great either.

I'm the type of person that bought 5-6 of the old whole wing packs ay a time. Spent the time to cut up, and package in the quantities i want or need for the freezer. and vac pack the tips till i'd get 10 lbs or so to make bone broth. and the quallity was good. I guess these packs are more conveant if you just want wings, to quickly throw in the freezer without that prep work. But those type to people mostly just buy frozen wings for the most part. I personally dont like the flavor or prepackaged froozen wings. These are just one step up from processed frozen wings, but three steps back from thier previous packaged fresh whole wings... As time goes on with product offerings from Sam's overall, not just the meats, the membership is getting less and less worth it it seems for grocery items. if its something good and customers think its worth the membership. They then try to change it to a cheaper product but not as good. From cat food, salad dressing, bulk ketchup, etc, etc... all those little things changing to worse products, add up.. now the meat Dept? Thats a big hit to the consumer, justifying the membership price that also increased recently...

Chicken quality

The new packaging is horrible! You can see the quality of what you're buying!! The quality of your chicken is far less from what it was before the new packaging! The processing of your chicken shows no quality!! I won't be buying your chicken anymore!!!

Not much meat

These new wings are horrible. The previous wings had the wings complete and could see just how meaty they were. This new packaging prevents you from seeing the wings well, they are not whole, and they had hardly any meat at all. As someone who had bought these wings regularly, I gotta say I may buy my wings somewhere else now. Was very disappointed.

Poor quality, Dry meat, wasteful heavy plastics

The traditional packaged wings tasted much better. These vacuum sealed meats are likely older due to the air tight sealing but give a plastic dry taste in my opinion.

Why am i paying for wing tips

Wing portions were smaller and the bag had several tips in it to bulk up the weight. Wing sections looked as if they were sectioned by a tree grinder. I'd rather Sam's go back to the whole (tyson) wings that i could cut up myself.

BRING BACK THE OLD WHOLE WINGS

I used to buy Sam"s wings all the time when they were in the styrofoam bottom with the whole uncut wings. I bought these and man was I disappointed. Precut, very little skin, and in my opinion packaging is harder to deal with. You have to open with scissors, basically 4 individually sealed packages, all in 1 package. Who wants skinless wings? If I wanted skinless chicken, I'd buy skinless breasts, or thighs. So disappointed. I will never buy again unless they bring back the old wings. In my opinion, stay away from these. Go to a local butcher.

Bring back the old packaging

I prefer the old packaging with the full wing. I asked a Sam’s employee about them, he said they switched to bags. The quality on this new ones suck, they’re mushy and quality is not the same as before. Why change a good product?
