The flavor is alright and the sauce has a good thick consistency. I have had better general Tsos than this frozen box version, it does taste good and if u are on a budget it is a good option still, but it’s not the best comparison to the authentic General Tsos.

Using both sauce was really not necessary for the chicken except if you really like your food really sweet. The quantity that in the package was not really a family size maybe for 2 people. The chicken was really over breads and there was barely any meat. The spicy level was really great. You get a kick of spicy but not too spicy.

It is not too sweet and you can really taste the chicken! It does not like it was frozen food. I highly recommend it to people who are super busy or want a day off from cooking.

A lot of vegetables and chicken inside the bag. There are other bag sizes available. Not very good price for what you get.I still recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One night I need a very fast dinner! So luckily I had this in the freezer! It’s microwaveable! I prepared half the bag of chicken in the microwave in just 5 minutes! The sauce is sweet and spicy.....a little more spicy than I was expecting, but very good! A few nights later I decided to use the rest of the chicken and the 2nd package of sauce. This time I prepared it in the oven. Both preparations were good, but the oven was much better!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Innovasian General Tso's Chicken dinner. I think it is the closest to restaurant Chinese freezer meal that I've ever eaten. The tempura batter is spot on in both taste and texture. While the directions didn't indicate, I cooked the full dinner in one turn in my air fryer by reducing the time to 15 minutes and the temperature by 25*. The chicken turned out brown and delicious! Now, the sauce was very spicy. I usually prefer sesame chicken so I found the sauce delicious in that sweet richness but a little too spicy. The spice factor was worse when the chicken first came out of the oven. I could handle it better when the chicken had cooled. I could see a generous helping of red pepper flakes in the sauce. I wish that a mild option was available. However, the taste is so addicting. Even though my tongue was on fire, my sinuses affected, I couldn't stop eating it. I had to drink large amounts of milk to handle the heat. The flavors were excellent and just like you'd expect dining out. I only used one pouch of sauce but was glad at the generous portion. I have reserved the second pouch for a stir fry dish I make. I think this is a win for dinner. It's satisfies a craving, is hearty, and rich. The portion size both in chicken and sauce are quite generous. I wish a mild version was available. I like a little heat but not an overwhelming sensation. I had to drink a lot of milk but it was so good and cooked well in my air fryer. I wish frozen foods would start accounting for this popular cooking method on their package directions. This was a wonderful meal!

It was comparable to the General Tso’s chicken that I get at my local Chinese restaurant. For full disclosure, I was incentivized by receiving this product free for testing purposes, although that didn’t affect my review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This box was deceivingly large for the amount of chicken that was actually in the bag. If I was feeding my entire family I would definitely have to buy the family size as this was a portion probably only for two people I added some fresh veggies and some white rice to make this some more complete meal. The chicken plain was very good in the air fryer and the sauce was easy to warm up in the microwave alongside it. My children enjoyed the chicken without the sauce. I thought the sauce was OK. It was very sweet at first and then just a little bit of heat at the end And as I kept eating it, it seemed like it was too sweet overall. I probably wouldn’t buy this again but would try some of the other items this company makes as it seems high quality.
