I bought this 11000 watt dual fuel generator after hurricane Helene devastated our area. Setup was very easy and started the generator on propane after second push start. This generator will enable us to run our entire house when isolated from the power grid.

Outstanding generator! Replaced a 17-year-old NorthStar 8K generator with a Honda GX390 engine with this new Champion duel fuel 11K inverter generator. This Champion is SO much more efficient! And, with it being duel fuel, it adds to our ability to remain ready for outages. Unfortunately, we have outages often where we live. Recently, Hurricane Helene knocked our power out for nearly two weeks. The old generator had to have an overhaul after a week, leaving us without power for a day. Having a dependable generator is a must. With this new inverter generator, we are ready for the next big outage whether it be caused by another tropical storm, ice storm, or anything else Mother Nature throws at us. We recently ran it for several hours and it ran without a hiccup. What a relief!! We are so glad to have purchased this Champion 11K duel fuel inverter generator!! No more worries!!

I'm a 55-year-old female with some physical disability. I might have trouble actually getting one started with the pull cord, so I chose this with the electric start. I started it up easily right out of the box! Very pleased. Now I want the 4000W version... when and if it becomes available...

Just unboxed and started it up. Started immediately and was ready to go. No issues! Don’t forget to add the oil and connect the battery. Also, it needs a break in period as these engines have never been run. Afterwards you will need to change the oil and you are good to go. Using this to back up my home needs in case of electrical outage. This is a heavy machine so be careful and get help lifting it out of your cat or after delivery.

The unit was shipped extremely well packed. Simple instructions had me up and running the unit in about 30 minutes. I elected to initially use propane, and hook up was a cinch. The unit fired up right away and handled the electrical draw easily. Other things I liked, include the ease of adding oil and future oil changes. The quick connect for the propane is well placed and simple to use. Looking forward to many years of service.

I could not be Happier with my new Champion #201417 11,000 Duel Fuel Electric Start Inverter Generator. I live in Florida and we suffer from power outages all the time. In the past I just a small generator to run a few things. But now with this new generator it will run all my soft loads tv, fans, lights, it will run my 3ton ac unit, refrigerator, a freezer, Microwave all at maybe only half load. I also purchased Model #100828 30 ft. 50A 125/250V Generator Cord that connects to a 50-Amp manual transfer switch connected to my house. I did the 5hr break in with various load the changed the oil and starting turning on loads 3Ton AC was first worked perfectly started and more loads this thing is a work horse it is very quiet even under loads.

I decided to go for Champion based on the reputation and reviews I have seen and heard over recent years. This generator has performed flawlessly so far and impressed me with the quality. It runs quiet considering it's size and seems very well made. This is the first portable generator I have seen that has a real metal dipstick like a car, not a stumpy plastic thing like most others. It started instantly after adding oil and connecting the battery which was already fully charged from the factory according to my charger. It runs everything in my house except for the 3 ton AC, which will probably run fine with the addition of a soft start device. The only catch to this model is it is very heavy, but that is because it is well made. I have every confidence that this generator will provide excellent service during our next outage. Well done Champion!

Bought about a month ago for emergency backup and powering some equipment when far away from wall power. Haven't tried the second part, but it handled powering the house extremely well. One thing to note is that the 30A fuse is off by default and it's not covered in the manual at all. So if you're trying to connect the 30A socket to the transfer switch and the electricity gnomes don't want to make your stuff work, don't be me and re-check every connection for 5 minutes. Start with the fuse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice generator with a few things that could be improved. The unit seems very well constructed and starts right up easily on propane. I completed the break in cycle and have used it to charge batteries at 7100W with no issues. Things I would improve would be the display, adding a button to cycle through the screens so I don't have to sit there and wait. While the load is shown with percentage lights on the side of the screen, it would be nice to have an actual wattage and percentage load on the display cycle. A two wire remote start would be wonderful.
