Bought this generator/inverter as back up for large ice storm. Only had to use it for a short time. It worked flawlessly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this generator for about about 8 months. I had used basic open frame generators before, and after a burned out furnace board and two fried garage door openers, I got into the market for an inverter. I needed one big enough to run our residential well, but also wanted one that ran off propane. That really limited my options, but this one ticked all the boxes. Setup was easy. Manual has a good amount of information in it regarding all the maintenance, setup, startup, and shutdown procedures. The unit is very easy to move with the large handle that snaps up or down when moving/stored. Pretty maneuverable as well, easy to keep tucked into the corner of the garage. I've ran it almost once a month just to keep it exercised since buying, but we've also needed it twice during power outages in that time. Both the electric start and the pull start work great. The battery is really easy to access behind a panel with two screws, so I've been disconnecting the battery between each use, and have had no battery problems. We'll see how that fares as we go into winter, but so far no issues, and it's powered everything I have needed to. I'm very impressed by how quiet the unit is. Even at 80% load, it's still quieter than any open frame unit I've ever used. Personally i think this is a fantastic buy. Quieter, more reliable than a cheap open frame unit, but didn't have to spend the equivalent of a car purchase on a whole home unit either. Extremely pleased!

We've always relied on a portable gas generator for power outages but since we have a monitor heater we couldnt use it because the generator would fry the electronics. We made the switch to this dual-fuel inverter generator and now we can use our monitor (and the kids can safely use their electronics too). Its nice to know steady reliable power is flowing into the house and having propane as a fuel option is nice since its much easier to store than gasoline. Very pleased with this generator, fires right up, pretty quiet and gets the job done during those multi-day Maine outages.

I am so thrilled with my new 11000 inverter generator, I have owned a Honda 3000 generator for construction and emergency power and am looking to power my home when the grid goes down, unlike my Honda this beast will power everything we need in an emergency, I also love the electric start and propane fuel option. Also the noise level is unbelievably quiet!

Still trying to get it to fully power the house but currently doesn't put out more than 50% of max capacity. The stormshield also doesn't fit on this unit despite being specifically made for the 11,000W inverter. Hopefully it will perform when we actually need it it. Very quiet operation. Used propane for first use. Easy to maneuver. Feels safe to use.

Outstanding generator! Replaced a 17-year-old NorthStar 8K generator with a Honda GX390 engine with this new Champion duel fuel 11K inverter generator. This Champion is SO much more efficient! And, with it being duel fuel, it adds to our ability to remain ready for outages. Unfortunately, we have outages often where we live. Recently, Hurricane Helene knocked our power out for nearly two weeks. The old generator had to have an overhaul after a week, leaving us without power for a day. Having a dependable generator is a must. With this new inverter generator, we are ready for the next big outage whether it be caused by another tropical storm, ice storm, or anything else Mother Nature throws at us. We recently ran it for several hours and it ran without a hiccup. What a relief!! We are so glad to have purchased this Champion 11K duel fuel inverter generator!! No more worries!!
