The Best TV for the Price

The TCL 98QM6K has an incredible picture. For the price it can't be beat. You may not even need a soundbar as the built in subwoofer has a very good quality sound. I'd highly recommend this TV.

We LOVE our TV

nice tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] nice tv, I had an older sony that I replaced this with. Does have better blacks but there are SO many settings its kind of overwhelming. Just wish they had a dummy mode setup that you could just click and be done with it. So much hype about this tv I was really expecting more of a difference from my older sony but really, its not that big of a thing. Blacks are better, I will give it that and depending on the movie, the colors pop more.

Poor Delivery experience

The TV is fine, very nice picture, all that. This review is intended for the delivery included as part of the purchase. Pick-up was not available for this item, so delivery was the only option. I was promised delivery the next day, but that came and went with no delivery after I sat home all day waiting. Called Sam's that night, was told it would be within the next 24-48 hours, so I potentially have to wait at home for two more days with no concrete idea when it might come. Sam's claimed they were having trouble getting a delivery truck driver. Well, it did get delivered the next day, and I found out why there was an issue with getting a driver. Turns out, they don't have delivery trucks, they farm that out to Roadie.com (like Uber Eats for delivery service) to get it delivered. So it came in the back of a pick-up truck laid over on its side (From everything I read online, this is a huge no-no for a 98" screen TV) in the rain. surprisingly, I got lucky and it wasn't damaged.

DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU HAVE TO SHIP

Maersk(delivery company) showed up with one guy, so he rolled my $2000 TV onto the porch and pushed it in my house. I have spent and hour on the phone with customer service and no resolution has been presented. Do not trust Sam's to ship this item with a reliable company and do not expect to resolve the issues easily. Worst experience, worst customer service possible.

Trouble with install

One of the reasons I purchased this television was because of the attractive offer of free wall mounting through Angi. Purchased on 6/8, delivered on 6/10 and I have yet to receive the confirmation email for the install. I have called a total of 3 times to remedy the situation and I still haven’t received confirmation. Very disappointed!
