I bought these monitor speakers for my Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 Controller because I wanted to start out right. I got the controller in white so wanted monitors to match. They are fantastic. I think they are awesome even just for playing music because the range is fantastic. My only remaining need is to find a case to transport and protect them, since I carry them around with me now.

First, let me preface this by saying that I am not an audio expert. I enjoy listening to music, watching videos, and playing games on my PC. I am not into heavy bass for audio so I am not bothered by the lack of a dedicated subwoofer and instead prefer clear midrange and vocals so keep that in mind when reading my review. In addition, I have only used this with wired connection, not Bluetooth. Everything was very well packaged and the packaging itself is well designed. It's clear that Edifier takes pride and care in making sure that their speakers reach customers safely and the package provided an excellent unboxing experience. Definitely a plus if you're purchasing this as a gift for an audiophile or anyone who appreciates a premium experience. Build quality is overall very good, but my set of MR3 speakers did come with some cosmetic imperfections and I can only assume that these were simply bad luck of the draw. Not noticeable in normal distances so not the biggest deal and not enough to subtract a star from my rating. I had been eyeing these Edifier MR3 speakers for a few months now before I bought them. I read up a lot on speakers in this price range before deciding on the Edifier MR3. I initially wanted the Edifier R1280T speakers, but after more research, realized that these MR3s are a more modern design and better suited for my usage connected to a PC. They also have Bluetooth capabilities which is always nice to have, although I have not personally used Bluetooth on this it. Setup went smoothly and the speakers are fairly compact which I appreciate as desk space is always cramped. I upgraded from Creative Pebble V3 speakers and these Edifier MR3s completely outclass the Pebble V3s. It's not even close. The midrange and vocals are much clearer with less distortion which is quite easy to notice when I listen to instrumental versions of songs and when listening to classical and classical adjacent music. Pop vocals are also dramatically clearer. Gaming has been fine as well, but gaming is an area where audio fidelity isn't as noticeable as in music, in my opinion. That being said, these MR3s do have a lot more power than the Pebble V3s and the speaker enclosures are larger so there is more bass. There is less distortion than the Pebble V3s at higher volume levels so game with confidence on these. If you're not focused on bass when it comes to speakers, these MR3s will be more than enough for you and save you the hassle of dealing with a separate subwoofer. TLDR: These are great speakers and a very noticeable step up from the often recommended Creative Pebble series of speakers (much better than even the "higher end" Pebble V3). Key strengths are excellent midrange and vocals, with reasonable bass response as well. Worth purchasing for anyone who listens to music a lot, especially with a focus on midrange and vocals. The premium unboxing experience also makes these a great gift for any audiophile.

I’m honestly really impressed with these little Edifier speakers. They’re small, but they put out super clear sound with a nice balance. The bass is surprisingly strong too, giving it that extra depth without sounding muddy. I was looking for something that would not only sound great but look nice too. These are well made, compact, and have a nice sleek look. The brass features really take it up a notch. I also love how easy they are to use with both my phone over Bluetooth and my computer, they switch over without any hassle. Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase.

Amazing speaker for the price. Huge upgrade from my in monitor speakers, easily fills my small room.

Have these setup at my work comouter where i listen to music all day and they have amazing sound quality.

Been using these for a few days now and they have been great. The Bluetooth works flawlessly and the different EQ options you can cycle through and customize are a nice to have feature if you use your speakers for multiple different types of media.
