This new packaging is disgusting in every single way!! There is no way to actually see the chicken through it, which is something I prefer when buying any kind of meat. Just to pick one pack up you are now forced to touch many and they are all slimy and wet on the outside. My hands were covered in gross raw chicken juices! Once i got them home to prep them, there is no good way to open these salmonella balls up. The water its in was sloshing all over my countertop. How gross. I've yet to eat it so I'm not sure if there is a difference in taste. Was this some brilliant idea from someone who sits at a desk and makes things up, but they don't actually cook?! Bc it sure seems like it. Having any meat but especially raw chicken in a Styrofoam tray was much easier and you were able to contain it all in one spot and then throw the tray away with no mess. What in the world was someone thinking when they decided to put it in these bags?! 🤢🤢🤢 It's a good price, but for the mess and now inconvenience I'll stop buying it from Sam's. Way to go.

Conveniently comes in 4 packs with 2 -3 breasts each so you can just grab a pack, defrost it and go. No need to worry about dividing the portions, it's done for you. Breasts were large without any gristle and well trimmed with no excess fat. The chicken was fresh, tender and juicy. This will definitely be a staple in my refrigerator and freezer. If you're looking for quick, easy meal, this is a great option.

Do not like the new packaging! I prefer packaging the chicken breasts myself to meet my family's needs. The pieces in the new packaging are oddly cut and don't seem as fresh as the ones in the styrofoam trays. Also, you can't really see what you're buying in the new plastic. I will be buying chicken elsewhere until Sam's brings back the trays.

I have always bought the family sized chicken from Sam's and I suggested it to a friend. I guess the week I did they had a new package and smaller size. We had dinner with them and cooked the chicken.. it was so different and slimy. I felt so bad I had told them it was great quality…

So yes this is basically lab grown chicken. While I have nothing against it do be aware it does not taste the same. I have been purchasing chicken from Sam's for quite a while now and I am not sure why they switched the packaging too. It is very messy and holds a lot more liquid and smells. I am personally disappointed.

Don't buy this chicken, it's slimy and gross. I used to buy the nice chicken in the styrofoam tray. This new chicken in the new packages has some sort of solution which makes each package have a ton of liquid with an odd smell. Super upset and will not buy this again.

They were easy to cook and turned out tender and flavorful. I also like the packaging, the chicken is split into sections so you don't have to use the whole pack at once which is very convenient. This is so great for quick homemade meals.

The chicken breasts are fresh, and the price is magnificent, as you get four packages, each containing two quite large breasts. You can slice them in half lengthwise, effectively yielding four breasts per package. They were very easy to prepare; they weren't frozen solid, which really highlights their freshness.
