Packaging ruining product

Since the packaging has changed, the quality and durability of the Member's Mark chicken products has gotten terrible. The meat itself is wet and requires extra care to cook properly and the packaging itself is deceptive because you can't tell how much you're getting per pack, making it hard to determine how much you need. We have also thrown away more chicken since the packaging change that has either expired before the date or turns after thawing. Please return to the old packaging.

warm chicken breats floating in a slimy watery solution in a boated bag. this was an express delivery so, I'm not sure what it looked like in store, but it certainly wasn't the standard flat of chicken I'm used to getting from Sam's. Actively looking for a replacement product.

Best chicken to help meal prep!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sams Club chicken is hands down the best way to meal prep. What I did was pre marinate a couple of chicken breast to be able to cook throughout the month. This chicken was juicy and tender, I paired it with some rice and it was the perfect meal, dinner, lunch combo. No bones so I could easily slice and cube to throw into my salads for lunch! Definitely will buy again!!

New Bagged Chicken Disappointment

Huge disappointment with the new plastic bag packaging and the declining quality of your Sam's Club bagged chicken breasts and boneless thighs. The previous tray packaging allowed customers to clearly see the quantity and quality of the chicken they were purchasing. The current packaging makes it impossible to see the contents. Furthermore, the quality has become highly inconsistent; some pieces are whole breasts, while others are merely small chunks of meat. There are already hundreds of negative reviews online regarding this issue, reflecting widespread customer dissatisfaction. After trying the new packaging a few times and experiencing these ongoing quality problems, I will no longer be purchasing these products. Not that my purchase matters. I hope you will consider reverting to the previous packaging or taking steps to ensure better quality control.

Terrible packaging

Terrible choice for packaging. The chicken is slimy when removed. I usually buy 80 lbs aprox 12 packages. These froze together in a solid block and stuck to the freezer. Had to use a mallet to smash them free. If you do buy these in bulk you need to put cardboard between them. Just my suggestion. I won't buy them again.

Disgusting chicken

Sam's was the only place I bought my chicken breasts but now I don't like the new packaging and the chicken has changed in quality. It has a different texture and I won't buy again unless it changes back to the trays and quality it was before. I couldn't eat it and gave it to my dog.

Not great

I have the same issue with these chicken breasts as with the thighs. The packaging just hides the problems with the product. There are little pieces that should have been discarded and occasional feathers. I have started buying chicken for our catering jobs elsewhere because this product is not even close to our standards.

Not good

I've always used sams chicken for both my and my dogs needs. I dont know if it is because of the the new packaging or if they have just gone down hill. The chicken was slimy, covered in what I can inly imagine is preservatives. starting to get a slight smell. Its the last for me. I'll go back to the Amish. Something vrry different about that chicken.

yum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] such a good value for the price you get so much in the package. This was easy to thaw and didn't have a weird chicken texture. The consistency was great was able to make a big batch enough for dinner and had lots of leftovers.

When the packaging changed, so did the quality! The new way is terrible. You can't see what you are getting. The chicken is slimy when opened. I have thrown several in date packages away because they smelled spoiled. Also, when cooked, the chicken is much tougher. We will be going elsewhere for chicken.
