New packaging

The new packaging is awful, bought it once will not buy my chicken there anymore, bought 2 pkg. and they leaked all over my counter when I got home. Can't handle chicken juice, what a mess!

What in the slime are these?

I used to consistently buy the chicken breasts at Sam's. They recently changed to, of course, Members mark and they are awful. They are covered in a slime that is disgusting. PLEASE go back to the other packaging!!

Not necessarily fresh

Sam's advertises as fresh never frozen. I have purchased these twice since changing to this package set up. Both occasions the chicken was 3/4 frozen.

Please go back to the old packaging!

Not a fan of the new packaging. So much plastic and there seems to be more variation in how the breasts are cut. Preferred the larger trays that let me clearly see the meat and portion at home in the way that made most sense for my family.

Chicken breasts

I am not impressed with the new packaging . I like to see what i am purchasing. This new package does not allow you to see what is in each pack. I also feel that the package stated 2 to 3 pieces in each pack but all of my packs only has 2 pieces.

When the packaging changed, so did the quality! The new way is terrible. You can't see what you are getting. The chicken is slimy when opened. I have thrown several in date packages away because they smelled spoiled. Also, when cooked, the chicken is much tougher. We will be going elsewhere for chicken.

Not great

I have the same issue with these chicken breasts as with the thighs. The packaging just hides the problems with the product. There are little pieces that should have been discarded and occasional feathers. I have started buying chicken for our catering jobs elsewhere because this product is not even close to our standards.

DO NOT BUY

HORRIBLE on so many levels. Packaging is deceiving. One tiny, thin piece squished together with a medium piece with so much bone, fat and junk which needs to be trimmed. The chicken smells, literally smells odd. I have gone back to purchasing chicken at Publix. Thanks, Sam's, for ruining a good thing.

Bones in boneless

I have bought your chicken for years with no issues but recently I've noticed the packaging has changed and assume it's because you no longer do it in house. Here's my problem and why the low rating. There is a reason I purchase BONELESS chicken and pay more for it. When I buy boneless I expect just that. Twice now there have been bones in either the thighs or the breast this can't happen in my household due to young children, very elderly and disabled. Those people don't understand what a bone is and that it's dangerous and the bones I'm finding are not very large. Even when I shred the chicken I don't always see it. Please fix the problem.
