Tuna burgers for the win

I recently tried the safe catch tuna burger from Sam’s Club and it I personally thought it was really easy to prepare, not much to it. I liked the packaging and how it looked it’s very out there. It had a shelf-life of over a year which is good for freezer foods. And the texture of the burger was okay it wasn’t something I liked personally. But my husband loved it and considered it a full meal from how full he got

Great High-Protein Option, Just Needs the Right Toppings

Straight out of the pan the flavor is definitely a bit on the “fishy” side. Not surprising - it is tuna after all! Adding some tomato and mustard cut through the strong fish flavor and made for a darn good burger! Good value at the price. Would recommend- with condiments.

Tuna burger 200 calories for 33 grams of protein

Safe catch tuna burgers was juicy and flavorful. I prepared mines inside the sir fryer for 12 mins on 380, flipping it at the half time mark to insure both sides were cooked evenly. The portions were a great value. The macros are 200 calories for 33 grams of protein. The texture was good and didn’t fall apart while you’re eating but they do have strong fishy taste and smell. Add some extra condiments made it even better. I love a good tuna burger.

Eh would not try again

Prefacing this review that I’m not a huge fish person to start with. I like tuna though. I was not a fan of the tuna burgers and would honestly prefer a beef burger. It’s a good alternate from beef but think i would prefer to find something else! The texture was too chewy for me.

Fresh, tasty, and packed with 33 grams of protein.

I really enjoyed the Safe Catch Tuna Burgers. I love that each patty has 33 grams of protein as someone who lifts five times a week. The taste is amazing, especially for those who love fish and tuna. They taste fresh, cook up easily, and make a perfect summer meal.

Great macros!

I like that they can be cooked from frozen. I can’t lie, I don’t love the taste of them but the macros are solid. 33g of protein for 1 burger is great. I air fried them and seared them and I prefer the searing method. The air fryer dried it out too much. The better sear definitely helps with the flavor!

Juicy and flavorful

I was a little apprehensive when I did this Campaign. I said everything‘s worth a try so I went ahead and bought it at Sam’s. They packaged three in one pack a total of six in the container. They look like burger, seriously. So I cooked it put some seasoning on it while I was cooking took about nine minutes, literally. This particular time I ate it by itself just so I can get the flavor of it. Now I like tuna so I was expecting a tuna flavor. I just didn’t know if it was gonna be strong or what. You definitely get a tuna flavor and it is not overwhelmingly strong. So make sure that you choose your seasoning accordingly. It was very juicy perfect size where you could actually make a burger out of it. So for a quick dinner fix or a weekend on the grill fix because you can actually cook them on the grill. I highly recommend these.

Keeping these stocked for quick lunches!

Safe Catch Tuna 🍔 are surprisingly very tasty. It has actual tuna taste, not fish 👍.Slightly seasoned so you add whatever flavor you like. They come individually wrapped and very easy to cook. The patty is a large palm size and thicker than average frozen patty. It is crispy outside and soft and moist inside.

They are ok

1st off, they taste just like fish. They do not shrink down in size, so right out of the are the same size. Definitely a value for what you pay for. They have 6 in a box. Not really sure you can say they are fresh because they come frozen. Very to little mess cooked them up on the stove in a pan. No leftovers at all.

Great Nutrition but not Great Texture

I wanted to love these Safe Catch Tuna burgers, but the texture and density is just not ideal. I tried to cook them at the recommended time in the oven and they were too wet and smushy. I then convection oven baked them on a sheet and they did get a nicer texture on the outside with a browned crust, but then the inside was too dry. Setting the texture aside, flavor wise, the tuna itself is tasty and to me has some great seasoning in it. Additionally, the nutritional content of these tuna burgers is really wholesome, with 33 grams of protein per PATTY and 7 grams of good fats, these are great for people like me who want as much protein in a meal with healthy fats. There are a lot of great things about this product like the fact that there aren't any seed oils, no sugar, has avocado oil, is sustainably caught and mercury tested. It seems like this brand is trying to make a fantastic product, but I think the patties probably need a little more fat included in them so they are more burger like and don't dry out so much.
